Syndrome seems to outsmart the fella because of how good his AIs are and actually having Preparation is a great advantage.
Omnidroid being by his side is a great advantage because it is basically Machine Learning incarnate, what we all would like ChatGPT and whatnot to actually be. The guys who faced Omnidroid v.10 at the same time for its defeat, Frozone, Elastigirl, Mr. Incredible, Flash and Violet... Can defeat those fellas who Shroud's profile mentioned mid-diff, and it took their combined effort to have a remote chance of taking him down.
Syndrome is an overconfident fella, but he has other inventions, not just this impressive mf that is the Omnidroid, and the one who's screwing Shroud the most, IMO, is Zero-Point energy bracelet function, which Shroud has no answer to and when stuff get remotely menacing for Syndrome's side, he uses that, and if there's no answer to it, it's a gg right there
