Remind you Marina in her game has caught attacks nad projectiles from her enemies, this includes punches, and she has FAR superior lifting strength compared to Deku, so her experience with catching stuff throughout her story should give her an advantage

That's good accuracy, coordination and reflexes but that still doesn't mean she could catch Deku who will be actively avoiding her and trying to outmanoeuvre her along with predicting her actions
