Pretty much like what happened to Todo, they'll make this become a spar match due to the kind ass nature of them

And i think Yuji has more skill than Steven, who'll have to deal with Black Flash and/or Divergent Fist, complicating his reading abilities of the opponent, since he'll have to discern between them to properly execute his more defensive kit
 
The verse is outdated, so it's best not to make threads with it.

For example, is currently accepted in the profile that the spaceship is standard equipment for some reason???

This means Steven will be in an MFTL H6-A spaceship in every battle, and if restricted, the battle won't be able to be added as it's standard equipment.

If the ship takes him into another tier, it can be restricted

  • An exception would be if the restricted ability/technique has a separate tier from the main one, and is one the character can consciously restrict themselves from using. In this case, the match can be added.

Nobody really said anything of value so I'll get them both out the way.
Yuji has the AP advantage of about 2.69x.
Steven has the LS by about 2x.
Skill I'll give to Yuji for obvious reasons. Steven is pretty far behind due to him not really having that good combat training.
Steven has his shields and stuff which should help a little bit. The only thing that Yuji has in this key is Divergent Fist. Steven doesn't eve have martial arts... oof.

I'm comfortably going with Yuji. Yuji sports the AP and skill advantage along with having CE imbued attacks which should seal him the win. Sure, Steven has his 360 degree shields, but they'll get busted pretty quickly and Steven's gem ressurection shouldn't be too much of an issue for Yuji if he kills Steven a second time.

I mean with the AP gap Yuji is going to be cracking Steven's shields open like eggshells. And that's without Black Flash. Black Flash would render Steven's bubbles as effective as wet tissue paper, and cave his skull in. Doesn't help that a Black Flash would also increase Yuji's strength/dura to 120%. Turning it into a 3.2x advantage in Yuji's favor.

Steven's only wincon is incap via SI.

The shield/bubble's durability is High 6A/5C so yuji likely can't break it.

The only real attacking options for Steven are shield throws and spike bubbles, both of which would still have 2x weaker AP then Yuji's durability but he could also just use his levitation to just stay out of melee range and spam shields at him. Steven also might be able to Bfr yuji via bubbling but it won't be one of his starting strats.

nope, that means he can only generate shields up to the level indicated, which is doable since he can generate a whole bunch of different types of shield and his shield scaling to his AP is nothing unimaginable

Im pretty sure you cant restrict stats like that
 
In his future key the durability is written as:

"At least Large Town level (Took multiple hits from Spinel, and even withstood her strongest attack). At least Multi-Continent level, likely Moon level+ with Shield and Bubble."

The H7C is for his physicals and is entirely separate from the shields rating.
 
I got confused since the key wasn't specified and there's some where Steven's shields are the same tier as him.
 
Welp, to win, Yuji would have to get the hits to...hit, instead of getting to the shields/bubbles

He can do that, and i'd still vote him, now at mid-godly diff, FRA, mainly due to the severe outskill
 
Yuji has it far more difficult thanks to the profile being buns and having multi-cont shields but Yuji can still clutch this due to outskilling.

Also, according to Profile, the shields and bubbles can be broke by people far below the tier if Steven's in emotional dissary. Do you think this battle will push him to such a state?
