Standard for EE?

I've seen characters receive EE for a simple ''no trace was left behind'' statement, but also characters with similar statements have it rejected. What exactly is the standard for EE because it doesn't seem very consistent at times.

"No trace left behind" shouldn't be valid at all because "trace" denotes something you can perceive, at best that would be atomization

EE should only be given when something is stated to be erased or completely destroyed imo

Agreed, tbh is weird when they get EE from stuff like "completely destroyed" or "dissapeared", implying that anything we can't see is gone from the material world.

It should be only given by statements and enoigh implication, atomization already requires that, why are we handing off something far worse than that?

For example, a scientist that studies micro stuff like particles and quantumn stuff failling to detect something and/or saying it was completely destroyed or something should work

Yeah with the amount of evidence required for Matter Manipulation, you'd think the standard for EE would be a bit stricter.
