Stalemate Question

What increment of time does it take before something is called a stalemate?
For example, Goku vs GER would result in a stalemate, but Goku would outlive Giorno, but that would take at least 70 years assuming Giorno doesn’t have any medical problems and not factoring lack of stamina.
So how long would two characters have to fight before it’s a stalemate?

Iirc, I'll just say stalemate if they can't kill each other or both are still alive, you also have to add a rule of how long this match will last, otherwise it will find a stalemate, ouh yes, the rule follow you want say no rules or you want to add rules
