According to the context in the image, can FTL speed be used? or must be calculated only But I think 100 slashes in 1 second is not likely to reach the speed of light.

100 attacks a second wouldnt be FTL if you calculated it but if it says the techniques FTL then i guess it is

If calculated, you will most likely get results at less than the speed of light.

However, if the statements are in the direction of being SOL or FTL, the statements must be treated as true. So probably FTL.

Honestly most of the time japanese authors don't even care to learn the true meaning of FTL.
They would just throw the word around to show their characters superiority without any logic behind it.

The only jp series i saw which properly does FTL or SoL is Fire Force and Tensura
