I just wonder how fast is the speed of thought? is it quantifiable anyway or not?

My guess is that, if it's measurable in any way, then a person's 'speed of thought' scales to reactions. If someone can see things that move at a certain speed, then their brain most likely processes thoughts somewhere around that speed as well.
There're probably some other variables to consider (like how smart/dumb the person in question is) but that seems like the general baseline to me.
