The rings completely absorb the damage done, so, Bio Hax isn't saving Makima here. Plus Sonic can power through it.
Hmm, the rings absorbing it for him save him for the former win con. He can't power through it though, nor is it a situation where he can, he'd just drop down incapacitated against his will, considering his body would be unable to function. It isn’t pain inducement, it’s just Makima completely stopping the opponent’s autonomy via targeting a specific part of their brain.

However, I am convinced this is a stomp now.

The limited amount of Rings he has lol
You as OP are allowed to specify the amount of Rings that Sonic characters start off with in a match, you just can't make it 0 for those that have them as part of their Standard Equipment. Second thing; the greater the one's durability who's holding the Rings compared to their attacker, the fewer Rings that drop (as Frontiers has recently shown). So she's gonna be doing nothing more than tickling his Ring count one-by-one via that AP difference.
Man, I need to catch up on Sonic. It's just that there's literal hundreds of hours of content to consume 😭
You should stop by the Sonic General Discussion Thread some time, I know I and several others would be happy to engage with you on your passion for the series and where could be the best place to start (just a fair warning; every fandom on this site has an annoying sect, and we are no exception, so try not to let it get to you since I think a third of Sonic fans on this site have English as a secondary language and they can come off dickish).

Oh, uh... not gonna comment on the match because I've seen so much back and forth on this being a stomp or not that I don't even know if I should instigate by adding a vote lol.

He did?
Idk because we see red lights before two explosions, along with a firery explosion.
And judging by eggman's face on the montain (like in later games) and how the chain is attached, there is some sort of base or mechnic.
Also he didn't blew up the whole mountain.
Anyways, Sonic clearly wins here, but I feel some reasons here are kinda stretching.
It's just described as a mountain with eggman's face carved on it. There's nothing extra. Just Explosion Manip and Vibration Manip for Classic.

I don't think Sonic should have explosion manip or anything because of it, but I was always under the impression he destroyed it with a spin attack. Especially because you see him drop from where the mountain was as chunks of metal and rock drop to the floor after he headed for the mountain. But I don't think something blowing up after Sonic destroyed it is that crazy of a notion either. That amount of force would realistically cause whatever he struck to explode.

I also recall the face in the mountain just being a carving. I don't think it's a base. I can try and check to see if I can find anything about it in any guides/manuals though.

Omg the speed amp is accepted as x4 and x8, but scales massively above said value because it statued people that are around that value.
Makima has reaction speed that's about x40 her regular speed, over x10 Sonic's actually accepted speed amps and scales to people who statue her regular speed.
Btw, stuff like this is why I want to get rid of multipliers on the page. Because people will argue this stuff. These aren't multipliers from statements, they were rationalized as lowballs because there are no statements for how much these techniques increase speed. This is why I would much prefer the amps Sonic has are instead just stated to be "far higher" because otherwise the amp it provides end up getting greatly nerfed if there's any actual number for people to go off of.
