Hidden Truths has the good part of Anankos claim that he(the evil part of Anankos) is in fact the one who did everything to Valla, like destroying the kingdom, killing the people, etc.
But where exactly IS Valla?
Well, It was most likely a country bordering Nohr and Hoshido, most likely where the Bottomless Canyon is during the events of Fates, since people from Valla have ties to both Nohr and Hoshido, like Arete having gone to Nohr and Mikoto going to Hoshido. This is solidified by Anankos' knowledge of both kingdoms.
But....Where is it during the events of Fates?
That is simple. It's in a "world" created by Anankos, Anankos has created dimensions (not the scientific dimension meaning a higher plane of existence, other realms or pocket dimensions) in the story as well.
When did he make one during the story?
Revelation Endgame, The final battle takes place in a small pocket dimension
How can you tell?
Despite the cutscenes showing a mere pseudo black hole sucking in islands, the battle itself takes place in a dark area that looks nothing like the rest of Valla shown in the rest of the game, the sky is entirely black with stars in the background, in fact, in the English version, the off map tiles are labeled "Void", and it even looks like the outside of the Deeprealms, parts of the astral plane.
What does this mean?
Valla, like the final battlefield, is inside of a "world" created by Anankos, with the final battle taking place in a "world" within a "world"
Wait, if Valla is within a "world", how are they able to enter it through the Bottomless Canyon?
It's simple. They don't.... They enter through a portal within the Bottomless canyon. In fact it even opens and closes at times, Corrin and Azura are even able to enter from a lake, which Azura claims that only she and Corrin can enter through that way, which means it's a Vallite only portal, since Gunter was unable to go through it.
Wait, if Valla was near Hoshido and Nohr, how come nobody remembers?
You know that world of mistakes in The Amazing World of Gumball? It's basically like that, except controlled by Anankos and Vallites are immune to the memory deletion.
How would you know?
Arete and Mikoto fully remembered Valla. Arete even died because she was telling Azura ABOUT Valla to Azura, who had no knowledge of Valla.
Wait....How exactly did Arete die?
A curse has been placed on the word "Valla" The curse is most likely similar to the one on Azura's full song, where she slowly disappears in the end of Birthright, as it seemed to have taken a while for Arete to actually die, since she was able to tell Azura all she knows about Valla. This curse was most likely placed by Anankos, who wants to
TLDR
Anankos creates pocket dimensions, the space where Valla is was mostly closed, leaving a canyon, all knowledge of Valla to nonVallites was wiped, Saying the word Valla outside of Valla kills you.
Abilities given:
Creating "worlds", Memory wiping (Non vallites only, not combat applicable), Curse Manipulation, Earth Manipation (Closing the ground except for the canyon, if the bottomless canyon theory is true), Death Manipulation via Valla curse (Negates durability)
