Snapping/ripping/breaking chains calc

I've feel like I've seen the ability to break metal chains used as justification on a few 9-C and 9-B profiles in the past, but outside of handcuff chains on the common feats page, I can't find a calc confirming these ratings to be justified.

Does anyone know of a calc for chain breaking already being done? It feels like a calc that, if possible to get general assumptions, would belong with other 'common' feats.
