Sentinel Prime vs Lockdown: Optimus Boppers.

Isn't his ship just optional equipment, they're not really part of his primary arsenal anyway
 
Lockdown's ship isn't a part of his standard equipment (surprisingly), but he does have his guns and the steeljaws so there's that.
 
If they’re at a significant distance, I’d give it to Lockdown because that face gun would cause significant damage to Sentinel. If they start at close range… it’s a lot closer then, but I’d still give it to Lockdown tbh. Just going off of their respective performances against Optimus, Lockdown had the advantage for that whole fight while Sentinel was struggling until he cut Optimus’ arm off.

My vote goes to Lockdown.
 
So in terms of versatility, O think Lockdown has it. He has his ship, his steeljaws, and multiple arrays of weaponry. But he never actually uses those when he's fighting in close combat. So there's that

I think Sentinel is arguably more skilled than Lockdown. Both seem to have the same level of AP, but Sentinel is shown to repeatedly overpower Optimus on his own and Prime at times required back up, while Lockdown did have the upper hand in their fight initially but prime gained the upper hand after a while before being distracted.

Also Sentinel has his rust gun, something lockdown has no counter to, and I honestly don't think lockdown will try use his gun face thing all that much tbh

I'd say sentinel
 
Huh... So I guess that makes Lockdown chances of winning higher, as he could snip from afar, however Sentinel does have his shield to block attacks. It's probably a matter of if Sentinel can get close enough.
 
I don’t think Sentinel will be able to block. Optimus wasn’t able to react and dodge despite looking at Lockdown as he fired, so I think Lockdown should be able to tag him at least once with his face gun.

But Bumblebee could dodge it at Melee Range though.
 
No yeah, Optimus honestly had ample time to try and dodge and he wasn't stunned. He legit turned around and Lockdown didn't even fire again immediately, he gave him like 5ish seconds to stand there as he brought out his face-gun and fired it.
 
Ok, is this a necro? If not, then I vote sentinel. Far more skilled, can use his shield to block a lot of Lockdown’s weapons, and beat Optimus pretty handily in Washington, while still beating him pretty well in Chicago before Megatron showed up.

Sentinel could just block it though, he’s blocked fast moving attacks with his shield before. And for everyone saying Lockdown fared better against Optimus, that’s…not really true. Optimus had the advantage during the fight, as you can see when he rams Lockdown into a pillar, but got distracted when he went to help Cade, which Lockdown used to his advantage. Sentinel slammed Optimus in Washington D.C, then went against him with two of his trailer weapons, which he didn’t have against Lockdown (Mexico City doesn’t count, he was ambushed).
