Salivas C. Otter VS Aldrich Bludwatcher (Foundation of Gatekeepers VS The Last Sorcerer) 1-0-0

Since no one has said anything, So Salivas is slightly stronger by 1 megaton. In terms of intelligence, salivas is also far above Aldrich. Aldrich has Soul Manipulation which is something Salivas is highly weak to and Aldrich resists salivas doing the same thing, which requires his enemy to be dead or unconscious anyways, so it wouldn’t work. Though his lifting strength is absolutely absurd and his regen means he can take as many hits as he needs. Salivas can also work long range with the Golden Orbs, Plasma Ball, Water Cresent and way more. He can fly in golden god. And for his wincon? Most likely a non-fatal lifting strength based one, but he could very easily existence erasure or just kill. Now for Aldrich. His advantages are his versatility, range and other similar stats. He has waaaay more creative uses of his powers and his Soul Manipulation is a huge counter to salivas who can be easily beaten up when it’s in effect in canon. Now in total, Yeah… Salivas wins. If Aldrich gets a Soul Manipulation in, yeah he could win, but Salivas could just… teleport away.

Existence Erasure is a problem, as his regeneration doesn’t do anything against that. Unless that’s an instant activation or something Salivas starts with, I think Aldrich does stand a chance (especially with equalized speed). After getting hit once, Aldrich would go into danger mode, as his durability is equal to his attack output, but only for so long, given the nature of his magic protection.
However, Salivas is more powerful, and aside from Aldrich’s soul absorption and damage from his sword (something he uses after he either closes the distance or restrains his foes with magic) Salivas actually has ways to end the fight fairly decisively. I don’t think it’s too unbalanced, but I do think Salivas has the advantage.

On a side note, I feel as though Aldrich should have lifting strength feats due to restraining the leviathan with ice and pushing away clouds, but I’ll wait until this debate is done

Is this a Salivas vote?
