Rick Taylor vs Specimen 9

Rick wanders and finds himself traveling into a mansion to find Jen. Along the way he finds and defeats all the other specimens but one. Spooky, quite annoyed that her plans have been set back quite a bit, sends the completed form of Specimen 9 to hopefully deal with this overly violent and degenerative intruder.

Intangibility will do nothing to rick, Rick will probably see through the illusions.

considering that Rick can literally punch monsters into puddles (Which is more then what Specimen 9 is capable of regenerating from, given that he has High-Mid regen) along with his non-physical interaction. Maybe Rick takes this?. About Absorption, its been a bit since I played SHOJ but can specimen 9 only absorb corpses or not. If so, Rick wouldn't get absorbed when he touches Specimen 9.
