Regarding the standards of Team Profiles

While preparing to create a profile for a group of characters, I had checked the exceptions regarding the rule that teams should have individual profiles made for members, which states the following:
  • Characters from teams that all have identical or nigh-identical sets of Powers & Abilities can have a Team Profile without need of profiles for each of the members, as long as none of them have solo outings more or equally significant to their team appearances. In such a case, the profile should be formatted as a hybrid between a Team Profile and a Character Profile i.e. contain both fields for Character and Team Profile Format.

Thus my question is: would a similar exception be applicable if the team in question has identical statistics, due to each members being equal in strength and scaling to eachother? Aside from identical stats, they all share the same physiology and basic set of Powers & Abilities, but individually also have their own arsenal of powers according to the element they embody (the team in question has members which are individual elemental embodiments of a single cosmological function).

The reason I am considering a team profile to begin with is because of their ability and stat overlap while belonging to a single group, in addition to the fact that any potential updates from new feats would be applied to the entire cast regardless of which individual member performed it (as long as it wasn't their elemental authority being explicitly used), which would cut down on edit time and naturally profile count itself...

...But problems arise due to the specific criteria for what passes as a team profile, along with the notion (as I've been told by someone) that team profiles are typically treated as those with an expectation of teamwork (which isn't necessarily the case in the profile I am planning) and are rarely used to pick individual members from them whenever a discussion or match-up comes up, as if there is some sort of stigma around them (though this could simply be the case of the wiki lacking an abundance of such profiles).

So to summarize the main points:
  • Does the presence of identical duplicate statistics and certain shared powers across the team members qualify as an exception to the requirement of individual profiles?
  • Is actual teamwork description expressly required for the creation of such a profile?
  • Are there any unspoken restrictions that prevent members of such a profile being used for individual evaluation in discussions?
