Reaction Speed vs Prediction?

Like the title says, What is the main difference between using reaction speed and prediction? I figured the latter was for having prior knowledge as to when and where an attack will fire and hit a target before it was initiated and thus get out of the way prior like precognition? And Reaction is becoming of a projectile mid-projection and then moving to either dodge or intercept, right?

Yes right. Reflex is reacting in real time to a threat. Prediction is conscious/semi-conscious forecasting of events, it does not guarantee auto-dodge or parry, you still need some context-appropriate speed to the threat or cheat code to avoid damage.

Much appreciation for that.
