Question on Abstract Existence without Immortality

Planning an upcoming CRT for Persona and this came up.

Shadows are abstract manifestations of negative thoughts and emotions that exist within every human mind. Their true forms are completely abstract, having no biology and being entirely incorporeal, and they only take a sort of 'physical' form in mental worlds like the Metaverse and TV World.

So far they seem to fit the bill as Abstracts, but the issue is they have no form of immortality. If they're destroyed, they remain destroyed, when part of what makes an Abstract an Abstract is that they must have some form of Immortality. Meanwhile, Personas do have a form of Immortality, and even classify as Type 1 Abstracts. However, Shadows are on multiple cases stated to have the exact same physiology as Personas.

What would Shadows be, if not Abstract Existences?

To be honest, I'm not very sold on Shadows not having immortality. Shadows=Persona in every sense according to Metis, so if Persona's themselves Archetypes that are given immortality, Shadows shouldn't be any different.

Other sites agree with archetypal shadows.

It also seems to line up with the the fact that only Persona users can fight Shadows, them being one in the same, while conventional weaponry is not, even when they are in a physical medium like the Dark Hour, Midnight Channel, and Mementos.

Take into account that there's not a requeriment of being an embodiment of something beyond simply born from it and represent it in some way, is completely factible to be the manifestation of some quality, element, emotion, concept or universal force without being immortal, nigh-omnipresent within its domain or anything like that.

Persona's come from Archetypes of ideas, people, and concepts that reside within the Collective Unconscious, and Metis states Persona's and Shadows are the same. Since both seem to rely on an Archetype, and exist because of it, that would mean any power Persona's get based on their physiology would apply to Shadows, right?

Thing is Shadows don't rely on the Archetype. They take form based on them on occasion, but only Personas are truly based on Archetypes due to the Archetypes representing humanity's defiance against Nyx.

Shadows are physiologically the same as Personas, but they originate from Nyx.
