Proxima Midnight Profile Overhaul

Ok, Proxima Midnight is one of my more favored characters in recent Marvel. I mean, who doesn't like a badass alien woman with blue skin?...Anyway, I eventually saw that she had gotten a profile here on-site. Thing is...it needs some TLC. So, I've created what I believe to be more through version. For your consideration:

Reasonings- Let's go through all the changes and why I made them:

1. In general: I did what I did to fill the profile out better and just make it look ship-shape. As seen in the original version, many of the links to images where tied to commas or spaces, links to profiles were repeated, and many of her powers didn't get an explanation to go with the links making it feel very empty. On one hand, I get it. Proxima is a side character who was created only a few years ago. At the same time, she's had enough appearences to build a profile for her, we should be able to give examples to better demonstrate her capabilities.

2. Removal of Energy Projection: I did this because she never really fires of any energy attacks. Yes, she can release detonations of power but they're never focused and more in line with AOE. As such, I felt that Energy Projection was pushing it.

3. Removal of Pain Inhibition: This one is just because, it's not really that special. So she didn't exclaim in pain when a spear piereced her shoulder. That just means she's tough. There's nothing special about the spear itself or anything. It doensn't induce extra levels of pain (outside what you'd expect) or anything. There's not much of a reason to giver her resistance to Pain Manip for that.

4. Removal of Transformation & Power Null Addition: I get what they were trying to say but the way it was put made it sound like she could transform. So, I got rid of it can called it limited Power Null.

5. Addition of Possibly to Antimatter Manip: The reason for this is due to what Blue Marvel says about it. As he states and IRL, photons are their own antiparticle and what was happening to Spectrum was not scientifically possible as 'anti-photons' don't really exist. He was seeing something new. However, I'm willing to grant some leeway as I really don't know to classify it as based on everything.

6. Addition of Possible Non-Physical Interaction: Spectrum is made of energy and can become intangible. We also know that energy is usually not tangible in the first place (Hulk as a feat for grabbing a being made of energy). However, I'm also willing to admit that it's possible that Spectrum just wasn't intangible at that moment when she was struck. So, yeah, a tad iffy here..

7. Lifting Strength: While it's true that Proxima's spear holds the weight of a star, that was only confimred when she uses the energy net feature and that's on enemies not herself. Nowhere else does it say that her spear is as heavy as a star at all times. That coupled with a notable lack of lifting feats has me put her at unknown.

8. Range: She leveled an entire mansion with one of her explosions and her spear chased Spectrum from ground level where it was thrown to at least several stories in the air. I think that it's reasonable to give her tens of meters.

9. Spear Description: Yeah, the original is ripped straight from the Marvel Wiki, so I changed it to be shorter and more original.

10. Weaknesses: Having no weaknesses made little sense. Corvus getting skwered by Proxima's spear and her response clearly showed she can't really control what path her spear takes. If she could that wouldn't have happened. She also completely abandoned the fight to retrieve of Corvus' spear which is why she got blasted by Captain Marvel and needed Thanos to step in.

Ok so I made the profile, yay.

• The render kinda obviously looks like a 3D model tbh, if it isn't, props to whoever made it, if it is, needs to go.

• ok so i'll admit this was me being stupid for a while and just attributing scans to punctuations because they seemed self explanatory. looking through the page it's obvious they aren't...

• AoE is energy projection still. Plus the spear transforms into energy too, so...

• The pain inhibition is a stamina thing, yes

• I don't understand why it's powernull, it looks moreso she just overwhelmed him, making him too tired to sustain the Hulk form, with Banner commenting on how surprised he was on Proxima managing to do that, doesn't seem really solid tbh... Also it is explicitly stated the spear transforms into energy as the Spectrum scan states, so I don't know what you're on about exactly...

• Limited Antimatter Manipulation is fine, it's not possible when it's pretty explicit.

• NPI is fine but at the same time, the spear itself transformed to energy, so I don't see it as long as the transformation bit stays.

• I mean does it really say it's not as heavy as a star the other times?

• It could very well be higher tbh given that the spear doesn't exactly has an arc, it just goes and goes.

• It's not really a weakness IMO she can't control it, moreso just add a note in place for the Homing Attack.
• Why did you remove some of the AP justification scans tbh?

Sorry this took so long, lot of stuff going in IRL the last few days.

Energy Projection: EP is supposed to be concentrated bursts. Maybe the spear when it's homing in but releaseing denotations from the tip of the spear is just Explosion Manip.

Transformation: Tranformation is about changing the body of the user, not a weapon. That's literally stated Also, how can you say that she tired him out, when he turns around and asks 'How did you do that?' If she just tired out him, he wouldn't be asking that question, he'd already know the answer.

Antimatter: Except it's not explicit. Blue Marvel literally tells us that photons are their own antiparticle. The man is an expert on Antimatter and what he is seeing is something that doesn't fit into scientific knowledge. Not too mention, it's not behaving like antimatter would normally, which would have resulted in a massive explosion.

Weight: That explanation was the only time it was mentioned and only in that state was that referenced. There's no other proof (at least none that I know of) that it weighs that much all the time, so we can't assume so.

Range: I was making an estimate based off it chasing Spectrum.

Weakness: How is it not a weakness? That's literally the point of the scan: she impaled Corvus despite not wanting to. That makes the thing dangerous to those around her, even if they are on her side.

Scans: I removed the scans because I had used them for other purposes in the profile and didn't see a point in repeating them. Especially when several of those scans show her taking on the characters she's said to scale to. Plus, it's not like she has a long complicated history to contradict the claim or anything. Also, we've done this with numerous other characters on site.

Energy Projection: It is a concentrated burst of energy that she fires into the ground in the given scan, and it isn't like those are explosion fires or anything, instead being an energy glow of her spear. The explosion is a result of the projection.

Transformation: Nothing states Transformation can't be attributed to a weapon, and it is attributed to the spear section of Proxima's P&A. Also not everything is meant to be a genuine and meaningful question when said, Banner could've just been saying that to himself as to how a being like Proxima could beat Hulk, taking it literal is massively iffy.

Antimatter: In hindsight it being stated as photons would imply it not being matter, moreso a weird Light Manipulation, but expecting fiction to use real scientific properties as they're meant is BS, so it doesn't matter what they act like.

Weight: Actually relooking at the scan it states that she can either project a wider net i.e. more volume and less mass and a denser one i.e. more mass and less volume. Doesn't this imply Density Manipulation

Range: No but mainly the spear basically flies, and isn't controlled by Proxima, so it seemingly doesn't have a limit to how long it can chase someone.

Weakness: Fine

Scans: Still no reason to remove them, it's not taking up space or anything, and is only showing the character in combat situations.
