Prodigal Pilot Foxes (Death Battle Fox McCloud vs Royal Rumble Tails) [GRACE]

As described in his profile, Tails primarily uses his flight to get around the battlefield while utilizing his inventions (Primarily his Arm canon for range combat and the magic hand for melee combat)
 
Fox can also fly with his Booster Pack and speed around with the Fox Illusion which he’s shown to spam a little. And he takes AP by a vast margin with charged shots and bombs so Tails will have to dodge.
 
Tails has fairly good aim with his arm canon, being able to easily shoot down V2's hoverboard out of the air, however he might have a hard time trying to shoot down fox due to the latter's reflector (Altought Tails can counter some of Fox's attacks using his shield bot too)
 
Fox could do what he did in the animation and throw a bomb from his Arwing to strike the Tornado down. Tails likely isn’t as skilled in melee given Fox was beating down Bucky who was stronger physically and very agile. So if he’s left without that, he’ll be at great risk of being beaten down with Fox’s moves and tools.

Tails is actually pretty decent in Melee, he could go toe to toe with V2 while the latter was utilzing sword combat and was even able to knock away his sword with the magic hand once he got an opening. Without the tornado, Tails is also still able of flight, albeit a little more limited but still a good way to try and get away from any melee combo fox will try to cook up

Tails could maybe get a few hits in but Fox also has the Fox Illusion and Fire Fox which could kill Tails if he isn’t careful. And Tails would have to destroy his booster pack to stop him pursuing, but as shown in the animation, he carries a second which Bucky didn’t see coming so Tails likely won’t either.

Seems like Fox just has more going for him, especially if he gets in close to Tails. The younger fox won't go down without a fight but there's little he can do to counter Fox just being more skilled and having powers beyond just his gadgets

Yeah I’m thinking the same. Tails has a lot of the same equipment and more IQ, but not the skill or raw power Fox has going for him. I’ll count this as a vote and vote Fox myself.
