So, a bit of a power here that I'm not sure quite what it qualifies as. One of the characters in the verse I'm developing has powers based on the duality of dream and reality. Essentially, he can switch the two around, making reality into dreams or dreams into reality.
One of his abilities is that he can turn things into dreams, which will eventually fade from existence. So for instance, if someone shoots a bullet at him, he can make that bullet into a dream, so it can still be seen, heard and to a degree smelt, but it has no ability to physically affect the world, and will eventually fade from the existence and people's memories, much like a real dream. This ability even affects souls and minds.
However, this ability is not very useful against the opponents he mainly fights, becaue they are essentially capable of using Restoration, restoring the nature of their being to what it was before any unwanted alterations. Even once turned into a dream, they can become real again within moments.
So, what power would this specific aspect of Restoration be? Most of the time, Restoration acts as Regenerationn, letting them heal wounds. The problem here is that people who can "regenerate" from being turned into a dream might not actually even be capable of regenerating from decapitation. And they haven't been erased either, as the Restoration takes place after being turned into a dream but before fading from existence, so it definitely isn't Mid-Godly
Thoughts on what this power is then?
