Point of Items?

As I do find Items interesting (since I've made one profile for an item myself), I do not see the point of making a profile for one. Is it all for bits and games? I mean, we can't really add matches for items. Well yeah, no one is fighting something like literal buttons. But then again, everyone seems to get the point with stuff like Character A vs Tsar Bomba, 160-Ton Thermonuclear Bomb, 5D Chess Pieces, etc.

There should be a line between this stuff, but versus threads using those items are never noted despite votes. And, can we even use items in versus threads? (Even if they don't add to a character profile?) People said no, although I see people with various ranks debate otherwise.

Items aren't meant to be used in versus debates because they're, well, items. The best you can do is find a character who can gain access to and wield said item because obviously it isn't gonna start fighting on its own. Why does it matter if they can't be used in versus threads anyway? We're an indexing site first and foremost. We make profiles not to pit characters against each other but to (or at least try to) accurately list their stats and powers.

Ever thankful for the reply, however. I don't think you read the post properly. "Well yeah, no one is fighting something like literal buttons." - "Obviously it isn't gonna start fighting on its own."

Anyways on topic. Items aren't tryna gain a mind of their own which I tried to state before, though I'm really talking about stuff like nuclear bombs n' a dozen couple of machines that are reasonable to put against characters from a few threads I've seen that did it anyway.

"Why does it matter if they can't be used in versus threads anyway?" I mean... that didn't answer my question. I said if it was viable to even set up those threads in the first place, as I was wondering if it breaks the rules because I've seen it a few times. Not if it mattered to profiles.

Also, isn't this a indexing AND battleboarding site? Or am I mistaken. There's no way you people think of the word "powerscale" and don't associate it with pitting characters against each other, plus the name Vsbattles definitely says something. ok have a good day lel.
