Oshawott (BlastZone) VS Majin Buu (Death Battle) 3-0-0 (Grace)

So, here are some advantages of each character:
Oshawott is more versatile
Oshawott has ways to boost his stats, such as Swords Dance
Oshawott is more intelligent
Buu has Absorption to get Oshawott’s moves
Buu can transmute Oshawott into food
Buu is slightly stronger than Oshawott normally
Disadvantages:
Oshawott has less powerful HAX
Oshawott’s Protect and Detect get less effective in repetition
Buu has to transform into Kid Buu to match Oshawott
Buu is dumb

At a glance, Buu definitely has experience with fighting comparatively small opponents and hitting them successfully (Kirby) so oshawotts small size wouldn’t help him evade attacks as much as it normally would most likely. Oshawott also doesn’t seem to have any experience with danmaku attacks either, so that combined with buu’s range might make it troublesome for him to get through successfully.

Even if oshawott does manage to land some hits, Buu has regeneration to recover, and also a small AP advantage which can help him tank them.

Oshawott has lots of ways to boost his own stats, all by a factor of 4. Plus, Grass Knot gets a lot stronger on heavier opponents. He has lots of ways to counter certain attacks (Detect, Protect, Dig, etc.) and has been shown to tank lots of attacks in rapid succession and not be affected. Even if they are able to land and knock him out, they can tank lethal blows and get back up due to Supernatural Willpower, and the lower their HP, the more likely Torrent would activate to give him a 30% boost to his AP.

Does he have anything for the Chocolate Beam? Also is there anything for Buu to absorb and gain their abilities?

No, he doesn’t, but like I said, he can use moves like Protect or Detect for stuff like that, plus he’s much smarter than Buu.

He could but I’m pretty sure you said those can’t be spammed so ki blasts and chocolate beam will always be a threat. And Buu is a highly skilled fighter, keeping up with Kirby so IQ won’t really matter. And Buu’s regen will be very hard for Oshawott to overcome, he recovered from being cut in half with no signs of pain in a few seconds.

There’s also the fact that Chocolate Beam has only been shown to be used by Fat Buu and not Kid Buu, nor has he ever really used it in combat, just for fun. Plus, Dig and Aqua Jet. Dig puts him underground, and Aqua Jet not on,y makes Oshawott’s speed higher, but also flies. Easy dodging.

That’s true but I’m not even sure if Kid Buu will come into play given he only came out when Buu was trapped. And he did use it against Kirby. Buu will be flying the whole time while Oshawott can only do it with one move as well.

Yes, but if Aqua Jet is used, it’s very fast, is much stronger than Fat Buu’s durability and could easily take care of a Fat Buu. He does have regen, but it’s Low-Mid, regen from lost limbs or organ damage so a move that, say, Blows him to bits could kill him.

Does it have the AOE to do that?
