Jeff seems a fair bit more skilled here, though that doesn't really matter if Slade just shoots him to death instantly

So they'd start 3 meters apart at most which doesn't let Jeff utilze his stealth tactics much.

Slade does have a considerable range advantage because swords are naturally much longer than knives, which could also couple for a better defensive option sense the blade could better clash with Jeff's knife.

Jeff does seem to have a bit more skill but i don't know if that can help him overcome this handicap, even with pain tolerance and a sword stab is gonna mess him up bad

Even if he did know how to use the sword, he hasn't been seen defeating a person with it.

So at best, he's going to be an amateur at it like any other person. Unlike jeff, who is more than capable of fighting many people with his knife. Jeff is more likely to bypass the sword
