I think it was a joke since Saten's name and Saten Ruiko's (a side character from Railgun who is given a lot more screentime in the anime) names are spelt identically.

But I think FDK Natsu has a shot due to having significantly higher AP (City level vs Small City level). Saten may be able to absorb Natsu's heat, but that won't stop Natsu from simply punching him in the face. Plus Natsu has the potential for higher speed since he's "At least Hypersonic+" vs "Hypersonic+ with Eden Seed powerup"

About the speed, Saten can reach at leat Mach 14, maybe 14.63 as Arclight, what is the rought speed of Natsu?

Never measured. That's why I was asking some posts back if his AP is heavily influenced by his fire.

If it's fire-based explosions , then most likely he can suck it up. If it's spontanious explosions , then likely no.

welp, Saten destroyed great part of a underground city, so seems more like a spontanious explosion, at least with his Fifth Wave... anyway, is needed more people to reach a conclusion

Probably Saten due his hax, his "eating magic" should give him a very good advantge here.

Natsu could only eat his fire, but he can't counter any other attack

Saten doesn't "eat magic", his power is more linked to sub-atomics level than magic, he can also produce explotions and create typhoons

Natsu also shown a ligning based abilites , however he always mix them with fire ones. And Natsu can also absorb fire as well.

Saten's attack not only operate like flames, or at least don't seems that way; if those attack were only flames, Teruyama shouldn't be affected by the attacks, that isn't true

Anyway, how strong and fast are those lightnings attacks?
