This is just a slight cleanup and update to some inFAMOUS character abilities

The first part I'd like to address is every Conduit being given Resistance to Mind Manipulation. Frankly, I don't know where it comes from, or why it's there. The only two characters in the series to have fought off a mind attack are Kessler and Cole.

Sasha (Infamous)

Her abilities need a cleanup

Mid-Low regen from absorbing energy should be removed because Sasha doesn't absorb energy. She produces tar. Most of her abilities come from her special tar.

She can only mind hax those who've come in contact with her tar. Effects include driving someone insane, sending them into a frezy, or turning them into her obedient slave.

She can also spread the Plague with her tar, which would be a form of Biological Manipulation

Her tar is also toxic/poisonous, so that would be Poison Manipulation

Another fun fact is that she can nullify people's powers when they come into contact with her tar. Cole, when exposed, lost some of his energy, and found that he couldn't charge up all the way. Basically, she limits how much energy you can store, and drains your energy. Limited Power Nullification

She could also create hallucinations of Reapers that could bring physical harm to her opponents. Sounds like a combination of Illusion Creation and Sensory Manipulation

She should also get Energy Projection, for being able to create and fire energy orbs and energy shockwaves

Kessler

Should get Forcefield Creation

He has a passive barrier around him that only goes down when he's used up too much energy and needs to rest.

He can also use Magnetism Manipulation to emulate Telekinesis. He uses sparks of electricity to fling Cole around the battlefield

David Warner

Should get Aura. [He released an aura of bio electric energy to flash fry a bunch of soldiers.].

The Beast (inFAMOUS)

This is focusing on Future Beast.

He should get Ice Manipulation and the ability to create volcanoes. In Kessler's flashback, we saw that his presence caused people to be frozen solid, and that volcanoes had sprouted in major cities. Could count towards environmental destruction.

Alden Tate

Should lose his resistance to mind manipulation. He never fought a telepath.

Joseph Bertrand III

Should get Transmutation

He can forcibly mutate people into the Corrupted. Though he doesn't appear to be able to do this in his monster form, because he's a raging berserker, his human form was able to do this.

Cole MacGrath

Explosion Manipulation: Can use his Sadistic Strike (inFAMOUS 1) and his Skull Bolt (inFAMOUS 2) to cause whatever target he hits to trigger an electric explosion. Basically, he turns you into an electric grenade that harms whoever's bear you.

Limited Attack Reflection: Cole can use his electromagnetic shockwaves and blasts to send RPG's, Sasha's energy orbs, Kessler's electric grenades, and the Corrupted's toxic acid missiles right back at them.

Homing Attack: Cole can use his Megawatt Hammer/Redirect Rocket in tandem with his bolts so that any target that is hit with a bolt, will cause any rocket that he has fired to fly to whatever target they hit. Said projectiles will also experience a massive jump in velocity, making them reach the target even faster.

Gravity Manipulation: He has this as his Beast form, but he should have it in Base, since in the first and second game, he could uses electromagnetic shockwaves and later his graviton blasts to change the gravity around people/objects, causing them to float.

Well, another issue has come up:

The Second Son crew currently gets it's mountain level+ from this calc. Just like with the Beast calc, the math is fine, but the context behind the claim is shady.

The basis for her relativistic strike comes from this wiki article on Abigail Walker. Look at the edit history of the page. A familiar face edited in the "near light speed" drop kick.

Look at the in game description of the melee attacks (Here, at 2:00). None of them match up with what is described.

So, where do we go from here?

Either we reuse Delson's mini-island bust to set the verse back to its Multi-City block tier, or we get someone to calc the frat and see what it produces.

Also, another thing to note for the Beasts abilities:

He can turn himself into the matter consuming black hole. He did this after he was hit by the nuke in inFAMOUS 2.

Another thing to note is that he can seemingly reform his body just by being near the black hole. Here at 2:50 you can see the Beast's body rising up, even though he had just respawned by the black hole. He doesn't have to sacrifice the black hole to create his body, he can keep it going while on the move.

There is also a misconception that The Beast's body was destroyed by the nuke, this is not true. Start at 10:30. You can see that the only thing it did was knock him down. If his body was being blown apart, you wouldn't see his upper body flailing around like that while falling.

Just something worth noting.

I think that this seems reasonable.

Any recommendations on what to do about the Second Som issue?

Also, would the electric explosion count as durability negation? He basically overloads nervous system with electrical energy and causes it to explode.

Well, I suppose that if the Mountain level+ rating is based on false information, it seems better to use Multi-City Block instead, until we get a calculation for a better feat.

However, you will likely have to make an explanation footnote in the related profile regarding why the calculation is not accepted, or somebody will argue to reinstating the old values again at some point.

I do not know if we can count it as durability negation. Lots of superhumanly durable fictional characters display resistance to electricity, even though it should technically pass right through them.

Yeah, that seems best for now. I think I'll make a request on the calc request board and see if someone will calc Delsin's feat of him shattering and sinking a concrete mini-island.

What about the speed though? They are able to control and steer themselves while going at lightspeed. That and Deleon and Fetch can blitz around an opponent to subdue or harm them using neon dash.

Guess you have a point on the electric explosion bit, but it still can severely injure opponent, since he's basically frying you from the inside-out.

Okay. Do they already have lightspeed speed ratings?

You can edit them yes.

If they need to be unlocked, please write a list of all the exact titles/names for the relevant pages here, so I can use a script to do so.

Why does the Beast have Supersonic speed is a High 6C?

The dude is a threat to Cole and keeps up with him.

MHS+ reactions is warranted

@Gar

The thing is, in game, the Beast makes no effort to dodge or block any attack thrown at him. He merely tanks or regens.

Even Cole's lightning storm, or the nuke, he didn't dodge. It's difficult to say whether he didn't dodge because he couldn't, or because he didn't want to. Point is, he's never actually dodged an attack.

And it's super easy to dodge all of his attacks in game.

His only notable speed feats are him crossing the east coast in a few days, and outrunning Zeke, a normal human,

I have unlocked them. Tell me here when you are done.

Hmm. Funny. And here I was, saying Delsin Rowe vs Edward Elric was a stomp because of a blatently false calculation.

Okay. I will unlock them, and re-lock the others.

Okay. Thanks. Is there anything left to do here, or should I close this thread.
