insomniac isn't part of the multiverse too?
I remember spiderman in this game appear in spider verse.

Insomniac is canon to the comics, but we don't know if the comics are canon to Insomniac because Pete doesn't reference that happening. Possibly would've happened in the Multiverse game they were developing, but that can never be confirmed because they scrapped it.
