Well, for some reason we don't consider anyone the inheritor of any weapon that isn't outright given to them (ex: Ismaire gives Joshua the Audhulma as she's dying, so it makes plenty of sense for him to be the sole user of it)

Honestly, I don't see why other characters can't have Divine Weapons, Sacred Twins, etc. as optional equipment

I'd say this deserves to be talked about

Indeed, multiple characters in FE7 and specially FE6 can equip and use holy weapons and could scale to it somewhat.

Also surprised why are Eliwood/Hector/Lyn/Nergal as unknown when they should be comparable or slightly weaker to Divine Weapon Zephiel or just scaling to Athos.

Regardless, i say Lilina wins cuz actual training, more tome options and can counter attack even if L'arachel has her horse and cannot heal herself.

Well, L'Arachel is a healer first and a tome user second, she joins rather late in Sacred Stones as a Troubadour and promotes even later, so even by the end of the game she has rather little combat experience compared to anyone else

Lilina, on the other hand, not only joins early in Binding Blade, but starts out having already learned from Cecilia (who is already a good mage in her own right, being Pent's replacement and all means she has to be in a similar league) and still grows throughout FE6

Lilina quite clearly has the advantage in experience and skill, while L'Arachel has the advantage in mobility and that's about it

L'arachel has been traveling around the world with Dozla and Rennac as a 3 man squad killing monsters long (traveled across the continent from Rausten to Renais) before Erika's journey even begun while Lilina has been mostly locked up in Ostia. Training practice no matter who it's from does not compare to legitimate survival. Even if she hasn't used Tomes, she has WAYYYYY more combat experience in general. Lilina hasn't been through life and death scenarios while L'arachel has and survived them. Monsters include swams of gargoyles, mogalls, Entombed, and so on.

Also, after L'arachel premotes, she gets C-anima which means she doesn't need to learn a whole lot to be around Lilina's level. L'arachel joins at chapter 11 and Lilina chapter 8 so it's actually not much of a difference.

Yes, I am aware of L'Arachel traveling with Dozla and Rennac, but as L'Arachel isn't capable of combat upon recruitment, we can easily assume that it was actually Rennac and Dozla doing the fighting while L'Arachel stood back and healed them

Also, when I said L'Arachel joins late while Lilina joins early, I meant relatively to the length of Sacred Stones and the length of Binding Blade. Binding Blade is simply a longer game than Sacred Stones, being 25 chapters (plus gaiden chapters) while Sacred Stones is 21 chapters (plus one gaiden chapter, being Ephraim's)

L'Arachel starts out as a Level 3 Troubadour more than halfway through the game, she needs an entire 7 levels before she's even combat ready, Lilina joins as a Level 1 mage relatively early in her game

Also, Lilina starts out with C-Rank anima magic, while L'Arachel only gets C-Rank upon promoting Lilina gets to B-Rank (assuming you got her to level 10 without raising her anima rank). Lilina is just better at magic in general, especially if L'Arachel is a Valkyrie (which she canonically becomes according to FEH) and she starts with D-Rank

Question, is this End Game for both or something else? Because if it's end game then, ranks doesn't matter because both of them will eventually end at the same rank.
Also, is this Valkyrie or Mage Knight L'arachel?

3 people vs a horde a monsters. Monsters like Gargoyles and Mogalls that can fly and Wights that have range, there's no shot L'arachel hasn't been in direct contact with them. You see from both routes that Dozla and L'arachel are quickly surrounded on both routes and have likely faced that many times before. Rennac leaves in the middle of it too so Dozla being able to cover for L'arachel the whole time is very unlikely.

All this while Lilina has a whole army to cover her back to train.

If you wanna talk about the whole game, then Tower of Valni and Lagdou Ruins has to be counted in the middle too. Even though they are optional, there is no shot that they haven't gone through it canonically.

Again, L'arachel has a way better growth in res and will be likely to tank Lilina's attacks while Lilina has bad res and hp on top of that. Lilina will also never be able to double L'arachel. Lilina's only stat that is higher than L'arachel's is magic while L'arachel has better stats than her in everything else. L'arachel's Magic is lower but 50% growth rate is nothing to scoff at.

Starting to seem like we're more or less arguing over who's the better unit, rather than canon.

I was actually going to write a whole essay about average stats, weapon might, weight, and even the weapon triangle, but then it kinda just hit me that not only is that detailing, but it's stupid no matter what result

I'd like to say inconclusive, they could literally both lead with Silence (L'Arachel would simply because of her experience with staves and Lilina would simply because it would be the tactical thing to do, which is something Cecilia was teaching her and Roy)

First time battling a Fire Emblem match (long time fan tho) so idk if it's stats related or canon related LOL. I just started spouting whatever comes to mind.

Lilina more likely to miss silence due to being in FE6 though. >:x
