Life-Wiping via Burning

Entities known as Dragonkin life-wiped a planet by burning it. This did not destroy the surface or destroy any of the planet, but reduced buildings to rubble and burned the entire population of the planet.

I'm not sure how to go about quantifying the use of fire and not an explosion to life-wipe.

Now if only we knew if the oceans were destroyed...

They were not. All we know is that it was life-wiped. "Kethsi remains dead to this day, and ash still falls from the sky."

Apparently this took time for them to do. And there were at least 4 Dragonkin who participated in the burning of the planet. That just adds to the complication.

Destroying and killing something over time is unquantificable, even less when there's no details of how were did, you would need to rely in something else.
