Kill la Kill: Can Gamagori really change his size?

So I just finished Kill la Kill today, and I noticed that in Ira Gamagori 's profile the guy is said to have the ability to "change his size at will". I did notice that Ira's size is kinda inconsistent throughout the series. However, can he actually change his size? It's just my opinion, but maybe that's more of a comedic effect/ toon force to emphasize his role as the Big Guy in Satsuki's Elite Four.

So I need to hear opinions from everyone to decide whether to remove that sizeshifting ability he is currently said to have in the profile.
