Someone from Fanverse who goes by the name of Ushiromiya Battler posted this Journey to the West cosmology explanation especially regarding to the Buddha and I wanted to know if it's very accurate or not. I haven't read Journey to the West, so I wouldn't be able to answer to this.

The Matter Of The World
Before speaking of Cosmology you must first know about the Paramanu. They are the atoms of the Buddhist Cosmology. Their definition is "The smallest part of matter, uncuttable, unable to be destroyed, taken up, or grasped. They are neither long nor short, neither square nor round. They cannot be analyzed, seen, heard, or touched." Being so small and unperceivable the matter of Paramanu follows a path to visibility.

Two Paramanu make a molecule, a particle called a Duyankuas. Three such Duyankuas join to make a Tryanuka, which is the size of a Trasarenu, a dust mote visible in the rays of the sun. Four Tryanuka make a caturarnuka. Thus larger and larger particles form, eventually creating matter that we are able to perceive. This process occurs by means of the power of the Consciousness Element.

It exists outside of the control of any deity and can be considered more scientific. When teaching the Mind King, The Buddha went into an explanation of what he means when he speaks of the Incalculable, measureless, boundless, etc.

And the Buddha gives him an explanation through number's which soon reach the realm of ludicrously.

So a single Buddha-Land within the Universe is Infinite. And if you broke that Buddha-lands down to atoms there would be infinite Atoms. There are also Infinite Buddha-lands within a single Buddha-Land and Infinite Buddha-Lands within them, going downwards reaching lower infinities. As such the Buddha-land we started with would also be contained within a Buddha-land going upwards reaching higher infinities.

Each atom of sed Buddha-Land would contain Infinite Universes and each Universe can be anything and are Infinite. They could have different, multiple, or infinite dimensions, races, powers, beings, concepts, and rules of reality hell they could even be Multiverses.

And each atom within them would also have Universes following the same rules being Infinite. And so on and so forth Infinitely up and down. And the UNiverse we started with despite being in an atom of Buddha-land could also be within an atom of a larger Universe. And at each point within those Universes, there are Infinite Buddha-Lands following the same rules as above.

And going further a rock would contain an infinite number of rocks within it, and each rock could be the size of a Universe containing atoms containing Universes or Buddha-Lands. And because every Buddha-Land can and therefore will be inside another Buddha-Land it creates an overwhelming paradox.

Because an atom of Buddha-land at any level would be as big as Infinitely possible, the one above it is impossibly more Infinite than it. And the one below it despite being every possible Infinity is still smaller.

This makes cosmology every possible combination ascending beyond any mathematical terms including Alephs. As even if a Universe or Buddha-Land is an Aleph Null cosmology, there will always be a +Beyond Infinite Cosmology in a single atom above it. This is explained fully here

Samsara
Beyond the atoms of this Cosmology, there is also the Cycle of Birth and Death also known as Samsara. It encompasses the entirety of this Cosmology from Hell all the way up to the Formless Realm. Only the Buddha is exempt from this Cycle as they transcend the Cosmology itself.

Every being has a certain amount of Karma and Merit based on their actions while sentient. Depending on how much of that Karma and Merit a being has will further determine if they are reborn in Hell, as a ghost, a human, or a god. When one's life span runs out, even if it is millions, billions, trillions of years or beyond.

They will be thrown into Samsara with no knowledge of their life before. Samsara is so powerful that even beings at the top of the Cosmology, who transcend Infinity and the Infinite, Existence and Nonexistence, Nothingness and Reality are all incapable of escaping its grasp.

All except for the Buddha.

The Lower Words

The Human Realm within this Cosmology has four continents two subcontinents flanking them, all contained within the Cakravada. Each continent is inhabited by normal Human Beings with different life style's and lifespans that go beyond the norm of our world. All four continents rest on top of an immense Ocean which is considered infinite as it cannot be crossed without being in a Higher Realm Of Heaven. This Ocean is then further contained by the Cakravāḍa a series of Iron Mountains representing the edge of the horizontal limit. Everything surrounds Mount Sumeru which is where the Heavens connect with the earth. A single Yojana is considered to be 12.8 Km or 8 Miles.*

  • Jambudvīpa, the South Continent, is 10,000 yojanas in scope, with a perimeter of 6,000 yojanas. The humans that live here grow up to 6ft and live between 10 - 80,000 years and is the only Continent where Buddhas may appear.
  • Pūrvavideha, the East Continent, is 7,000 yojanas in scope, with a perimeter of 6,350 yojanas. The humans that live here grow up to 12ft and live for 250 years.
  • Aparagodānīya, the East Continent, is 7,000 yojanas in scope, with a perimeter of 6,350 yojanas. The humans that live here grow up to 12ft and live for 250 years.
  • Uttarakuru, the North Continent and is shaped like a Square, with a perimeter of 8,000 yojanas, 2,000 on each side. The humans that live here grow up to 48 ft live 1,000 years, build their cities in the air, and don't own property.

The Naraka Realm is the hell of this world. Spirits and Souls go to this world to face Judgement by Lord Yama. When declared guilty depending on their negative karma they will be sent to worlds filled with the greatest suffering. A vast array of tortures and realms of torment await people in Naraka. The sufferings of Naraka include coming alive and dying within a single day for years. They will stay here until their Negative Karma is canceled out and then will be thrown into the wheel of reincarnation. *

  • The Eight Hot Hells consists of Hells where you are killed and resurrected, burned alive, crushed time and time again, and hunted down by vicious beasts.
  • The Eight Cold Hells consists of Hells where you are tormented by unbearable cold, this includes being frozen solid while still alive, or even having your break broken open.
  • Lord Yama rules over an infinite number of Ghost Kings all of which like Deva's Lord control over things such as Life and Birth and even nonphysical things like Calamity and Danger.*

The Layers Of The Earth are beneath Ocean and 80,000 Yojanas below the earth. The first Layer is the Golden Earth, which holds up Mount Sumeru which The Heavens rest on and lie above. Beneath it lies a Layer of Water, and further beneath that lies a Layer of Air that separates the world from the infinite space outside of the Earth also called Akasha.*

  • The Golden Earth is either 240,000 (1,920,000 Miles) or 320,000 Yojana (2,560,000 Miles) in depth.
  • The Layer of Water, which is either 480,000 Yojanas (3,840,000 Miles) or 8,000,000 Yojanas (64,000,000 Miles) in Depth.
  • The Layer of Air, which is either 960,000 Yojanas (7,680,000 Miles) or 16,000,000 Yojanas (128,000,000 Miles) in Depth.

Mount Sumeru

The World System of Mount Sumeru is a giant Mountain of a strange shape that is in the center of the world. It rises 80,000 Yojanas (720,000 Miles) and is immense in size. It is surrounded by seven rings of mountain ranges each half the height of the previous one holding great oceans in the space between each. Both the Sun and the Moon rotate around Mount Sumeru and are guided by the Four Great Kings that live upon it. The three worlds that are located on Mount Sumeru are known as The World of Thirty Three Deva's, The World of The Four Great Kings, and The World of the Asura's.

The Terrestrial Heavens

Trāyastriṃśa *

Cāturmahārājikakāyika*

  • The World of the Four Great Kings is found on the slopes of Mount Sumeru, with the inhabitants living in the air around the Mountains. The Four Kings (referenced in the name) are Virūḍhaka, Dhṛtarāṣṭra, Virūpākṣa, and their leader Vaiśravaṇa. Each King rules over one of the Cardinal Points. Here they guide the Sun and Moon which revolves around the Great Mountain. The inhabitants of the realm are 750 ft tall and live for 9,000,000 years.
  • The Crests of the Seven Mountain Ranges, the sun, the moon, and all the stars also belong to the abodes of the Four Great Kings.
Asura*

  • The World of the Asuras is found at the foot of Mount Sumeru and into the Ocean. Asura is not the original home of the Asuras, they seek to regain their homeland but remain unable to defeat the Four King's guards.
  • The Asura Kings are capable of feats like toppling Mt. Sumeru with their bare hands.* Mount Sumeru is the Axis of the entire World and Sakra's Palace which also contains his net which would be infinite in weight.

Celestial Heavens

Parinirmita-vaśavartin*

  • The Heavenly Realm of the Deva with power over others Creations. The Devas here do not care about their forms or how they appear, instead, they focus on fulfilling their desires by using Lesser Devas. This Plane is home to the Devaputra, called Māra, who seeks to keep all beings within the Desire Realm, with this being the Highest plane within the Desire Realm. The beings of this world are 4,500 feet (1,400 m) tall and live for 9,216,000,000 years.
  • The Devas of Parinirmita-vasavartin have the ability to control the elements to an absolute and can control the creations of lesser Devas and the creations that reside within the Lower Planes. Instead of troubling themselves to create thing's they have attendants who do that for them. Due to the fact they mess with and torment other beings in the lower Heavens, a lot of Demons end up here.
  • Māra is capable of controlling, warping, and doing whatever they please to the world below him, Infinitely Expanding and the Infinitely Complex creations that are made of matter are nothing but toys to satisfy his desires.
Nirmāṇarati*

  • The Heavenly Realm of the Deva delighting in their Creations. The Deva's of this world are capable of making any appearance to please themselves. Lord of the Realm is Sunirmita. The beings here are 3,750 ft tall and live for 2,304,000,000 years.
  • The Devas of Nirmanarati have the ability to manifest the elements to an absolute and can create any physical matter in any way they wish in any size they wish in any shape they wish. They spend their time admiring the myriad of things they have made.
  • Sunirmita at this point his power of creation is limitless making infinitely layered physical matter meaningless as he can always create more with only his thoughts which surpass the realms below him
Tushita*

Yāma*

  • The Heavenly Realm without Fighting, These Devas live in the air, free of all difficulties. Yāma is the first heaven that functions as a disconnect between the Terrestrial Heavens and the Human Realm. Its ruler is the Deva Suyāma. It is said that The Yāma Heaven is always illuminated so that there is no division of day and night. The gods here enjoy the satisfaction of the five desires, which arise in relation to the five senses. The beings of this world are 2,250 feet (690 m) tall and live for 144,000,000 years.
  • Suyama being the ruler of the Yama Heaven has abilities that can transcend the limitations of time. He can read the minds of all sentient beings in both the past present and future. Because no beings from a lower realm can comprehend a higher one, his power transcends that of the Sakra (The Jade Emperor). This is shown through replicating the same Creation Feat as him but on an even larger scale.*

The Brahma Heaven

Mahābrahmā *

  • Heaven of The Great Brahma, ruled by Mahabrahma, his titles are "Brahmā, Great Brahmā, the Conqueror, the Unconquered, the All-Seeing, All-Powerful, the Lord, the Maker, and Creator, the Ruler, Appointer and Orderer, Father of All That Have Been and Shall Be." According to the Brahmajāla Sutta, a Mahābrahmā is a being from the Ābhāsvara worlds who falls into a lower world through exhaustion of his merits and is reborn alone in the Brahma-world; forgetting his former existence, he imagines himself to have come into existence without a cause. Note that even such a high-ranking deity has no intrinsic knowledge of the worlds above his own. Mahābrahmā is 1 1⁄2 yojanas tall. His lifespan is variously said to be 1 Kalpa (4.32 Billion Years).
  • Mahabrahma, being the Ruler of this Realm he is superior to all of the other Brahma living here, despite them being able to shake millions of Universes beyond count which each in themselves transcend an Infinitely, Infinite Hierarchy. From his title's it is safe to assume he is Nigh-Omniscient to the Realms below him.
Brahmapurohita *

  • Heaven of Brahma's Aide, Brahma beings that live here is born as companions to Mahābrahmā after he has spent some time alone. Since they arise subsequent to his thought of a desire for companions, he believes himself to be their creator, and they likewise believe him to be their creator and lord. They are 1 yojana in height and their lifespan is 1⁄2 of a Kalpa (2.1 Billion Years).
Brahmapāriṣadya*

  • Heaven of Brahma's Retinue, Brahma here are also called Brahmakāyika, but this name can be used for any of the inhabitants of the Brahma-worlds. They are half a yojana in height and their lifespan is 1⁄3 of a Kalpa (1.4 Billion Years).
  • The Brahma who live here watched the world come into existence and existed before those worlds. They are aware of the other Brahma's above them within the Brahma Heaven but can not view beyond it. They also wield power that transcends reason and logic, as they can affect and shake millions of Universes that have as many atoms that exist within entire Buddha Lands which are infinite and Infinitely Spiraling.

The Radiance Heaven

Ābhassara*

  • The World of Devas Possessing Splendor. The lifespan of the Ābhāsvara Devas is 8 mahākalpas. (34.56 Billion Years) Eight mahākalpas is the interval between destructions of the universe by water, which includes the Ābhāsvara worlds. When the universe is dissolved after the lapse of an epoch and is again evolved, beings are mostly born in the ābhassara world. When the world begins to re-evolve, the Brahmavimāna appears. Then some being or other, either because they have finished their life in Ābhāsvara or because their merit is exhausted, leave the ābhassara world and is reborn in the Brahmavimāna. Others follow their example, and it is then that the first to be reborn in the Brahma-world thinks of himself as Brahmā, the eternal.
Appamāṇābha*

  • The World of Devas of Immeasurable Radiance. Not a lot is known about this realm but the Deva's living here would be superior to the ones of Parittabha. Their lifespan is 4 mahākalpas (17.28 Billion Years).
Parīttābha*

The Virtue Heaven

Śubhakṛtsna*

  • The World of Most Extensive Virtue. Devas who live here have a lifespan is 64 mahākalpas. (276.48 Billion Years) 64 mahākalpas is the interval between destructions of the universe by wind, including the Śubhakṛtsna worlds, resulting in their eventual destruction.
Apramāṇaśubha*

  • The World of Immeasurable Virtue. Practically nothing is known about this Realmexcept for their Lifespans which is 32 mahākalpas (138.24 Billion Years). They would be superior to all of the Deva's and Brahma's below them though.
Parīttaśubha*

The Bṛhatphala Heaven

Asaññasatta*

  • Deva's who live here have only bodies without consciousness are the Devas who have attained a high dhyāna, and, wishing to avoid the perils of perception, have achieved a state of non-perception in which they endure for a time. Rebirth into this plane results from a meditative practice aimed at the suppression of consciousness. Those who take up this practice assume release from suffering can be achieved by attaining unconsciousness. However, when the life span in this realm ends, perception arises again, the beings pass away and are born in other planes where consciousness returns. They also have a 500 Mahakalpas lifespan (500 Billion Years).
Vehapphala*

  • The World of Increasing Merit. Devas who live here have a lifespan is 500 mahākalpas (500 Billion Years). This world is the limit of the destruction of the universe and all of the worlds beyond it would not be affected no matter what happens to it.
Anabhraka*

  • The World of The Cloudless Divas. Practically nothing is known about this Realm including their Lifespans. They would be superior to all of the Deva's and Brahma's below them though.

The Pure Abodes

The Śuddhāvāsa or Pure Abodes are vastly different than all of the other Form Realms below it as you can not reach this realm through being reborn. Beings known as the Anagamis (Non-Returners) are the only ones who exist here and will never be sent to a lower realm. This Realm is untouchable and unobtainable to any beings who have yet to get rid of their view of separate individuality, indecision, attachment to morality and observances, cravings for anything in the Realms below them, and Malice. But they have not yet completely transcended the five higher fetters (craving for existence in the Realms above their own, egoism, restlessness, and ignorance). Unlike the Realm's below the number of Anagamis are limited.*

  • The Clear Viewing Abode of Devas, The highest of all the Rūpadhātu Realms. This world is often used to refer to the highest extreme of the universe. The duration of life in Akaniṣṭha is 16,000 Kalpas (69120 Billion Years).
Sudassī-Āvāsa*

  • The Clear Viewing Abode of Devas, this world is almost exactly the same as the one above it.
Sudassāvāsa*

  • The Beautiful Abode of Devas, only five kinds of Anagamins are reborn here.
Atappāvāsa*

  • The Untroubled Abode of Devas, those of the lower realm wish they be in the presence of these beings.
Avihāvāsa*

  • The Enduring Abode of Devas, the most commonplace for Anagamins to be reborn.
  • Devas born in the Pure Abode's are all immune to Afflictions of any kind.

The Form Realms

The Rūpadhātu or "Form Realms"* is everything we have gone over. All beings of the Form realms have physical bodies and shapes despite not being perceptible or capable of being sensed by beings of even lower realms.***

The Formless Realms
Beings at this Realm transcend The Concepts of Infinity, The Concepts of being beyond Infinity and Space, The Concept of Nothingness, and The Concept of Transcending their previous state of transcendence a near-limitless number of times beyond that. (Page 124)

The Formless Realms or Arupa-dhatu* transcending everything with The Form Realms. Here there is no shape, no form, no size all of those are constructs of the Form Realms and have no grounds here. Human terms no longer apply as this is a Place of Emptiness.*

  • The Sphere of Infinite Space is the lowest plane of The Formless Realms, here there is no physical body and exists as Pure Mind. These minds are not simply consciousness but are entirely nonconceptual and are emptiness having no existence in all phenomena. They can perceive infinity as you must have contemplated infinity to reach this realm.
Because of this, they comprehend any and all Infinities no matter how complex.

Viññāṇānañcāyatana
*

  • The Sphere of Infinite Consciousness is the second plane of The Formless Realms. After being able to perceive infinity granting access to The Sphere of Infinite Pace, the next step is having one's own consciousness and mind become as Infinite as their perception. By the end of this, they will be able to both grasp beyond the concept of Infinity and spread themselves beyond it as well.
Because of this, they transcend any Infinity no matter how complex.

Ākiñcaññāyatana
*

  • The Sphere of Nothingness is the third plane of The Formless Realms. With the concept of Infinite and Infinity being completely grasped and overcome with their own Pure Mind, beings in this realm reach a state of nothingness. They realize that all experience which includes all of reality is nothing but an illusion and is unreality and nonexistence, including concepts and boundaries.
Because of this, they comprehend and transcend nonreality, unreality, or nonexistence no matter how complex.

Nevasaññānāsaññāyatana
*

  • The Sphere of Neither Perception Nor Non-perception is the highest plane of existence of the phenomenal universe. It is attained by realizing that even the Sphere of Nothingness is comprised of beings aware of Nothingness and Nonexistence which counteracts the meaning of nothingness. This loops in on itself creating a paradox.
Because of this, they transcend, their previous state of transcendence which already transcends all stages of reality, unreality, existence, nonexistence, infinity, or finitely a paradoxical beyond numbers of times.

Nirvana

Nirvana you may have realized the state of which Buddha's reach has not been mentioned once or even hinted at. That is because Nirvana is not a part of this Cosmology or even on the same scale. Even up to this point none, not the gods or people can understand it or the Buddha. That is because, In Nirvana, the Buddha has three bodies which in turn represent themselves.*

  • The Dharmakaya* is devoid of Space and Time, it represents their mind. It has no form to grasp, it does not move, it is boundless, beyond any of the things below it including the idea or concept of being transcendent.
  • Their second is Sambhogakāya* which is the physical body of a buddha in which creates Buddha Lands along with them. It is their purest form that is still physical, formless as it is one with the Buddha Land around them but in a subtle way. It is purely for the benefit of others that this body exists. It transcends the unspeakable and untold.
  • Their third is Nirmanakaya* which is the physical body of the Buddha in which they interact with worlds lower than the Buddha Lands. This form interacts with the Pure and Impure, those who still hold onto titles and basic urges. This body despite being physical is beyond Infinite as it materialized across simply all.
Through these three bodies, The Buddha is formed and is beyond anything imaginable. These Bodies are not born or made, beyond comprehension. Their physical form is infinite and the infinite is all one, present and understanding all worlds.

All Buddhas share one being despite having multiple bodies. So feats for a single Buddha are shared through all of them.

Keep in mind this feat is nothing compared to what a Buddha can perform. A single Buddha Land contains an infinite number of atom's and each atom contains an infinite number of Universes which loops in on itself beyond infinitely. The Buddha then made as many worlds as their atoms in a hundred million of those lands tremble.

Basically, a single atom within an atom, infinitely within one another. Is larger than the entire DC Multiverse even if it's infinite.

The Sphere of Nothingness is the third plane of The Formless Realms. With the concept of Infinite and Infinity being completely grasped and overcome with their own Pure Mind, beings in this realm reach a state of nothingness. They realize that all experience which includes all of reality, is nothing but an illusion and is unreality and nonexistence and consider all just an illusion.

Basically, if you exist, if you are made of matter these beings will see you as nothing but an Illusion. And this-

The Sphere of Neither Perception Nor Non-perception is the highest plane of existence of the phenomenal universe. It is attained by realizing that even the Sphere of Nothingness is comprised of beings aware of Nothingness and Nonexistence which counteracts the meaning of nothingness. This loops in on itself creating a paradox with the being constantly transcending their last train of thought which encompasses beyond infinity, nothingness, nonexistence an infinite number of times.

So then they transcend the beings who see existence as an illusion an infinite number of times, transcending, beyond infinity, nothingness, and nonexistence. And even those beings can fathom the power of the Buddha as he lies outside of this very Cosmology.

This is not supposed to be on CRT, but rather the Questions and Answers board, and even then this is pushing it, since you are not making any new points yourself, but copy-pasting other people's stuff (Which we don't allow anymore, you cannot in good conscience copypaste offsite threads here willy nilly, as it is forbidden, because a lot of them do not line up with our site standards), in which case, merely inserting the link in a General Discussion Thread regarding JTTW would have sufficed. I've been seeing this pattern with a lot of your posts lately, and I find it nothing short of incredibly troubling at this rate.

I see, do you mind moving this to Questions and Answers board for me then?

I guess I could ask a thread mod to do it, but I don't see how it won't be shut down after this, considering you literally just copy-pasted another man's argument from another website and he can't even argue his points across, which we wouldn't allow under any circumstance anyway. Them's the rules.

Oh, didn't expect to see my stuff here, lol. Anyway, none of this is related to JTTW, this is real Buddhism and we don't do religion here.
