I feel like Terrarian takes this due to experiencing near-death events almost every day of his life. Jesse was a treehouse kid that liked heroes who then became one.

Wouldn't Jesse be just as experienced in dealing with near-death experiences considering he probably has been brought up to defend against Zombies, Creepers, Spiders etc?

Compared to the Terrarian who defeats flying eyeballs, robotic skeletons, travels into the underworld, has probably been burned multiple times, has taken fall damage a horrendous amount of times, has gone cave exploring, has experienced blood moons and other, and has actually possibly died a possible of times, no.
