Steven Spielberg's JAWS, the original blockbuster. The movie that terrorized beach enjoyers globally and set a new standard for horror thrillers going forward... but the pages tied to this movie and its sequels or spin-offs aren't quite up to standard on VSBW...

Befitting the anniversary this CRT will mainly cover the first incarnation of the shark, originally from the novel which then got adapted to a film (and which later got adapted into a manga), replacing this and this.

Here's my sandbox for the novel shark, the movie shark and the manga shark, plus a character template for the original shark's three incarnations.

To specify what I'm altering would take too long since the pages in their entirety required a huge makeover (I mean the film profile straight up mentions sequel sharks Brucette and Brucetta as if they're even part of the 1975 film, a leftover from when it was a composite page... and none of the novel or movie pages should be called "Jaws" for starters since only a few games and merch call the sharks that).

This might be just the first part of a larger CRT (since there's a lot of ground to cover with how many sharks this series has), but I could also leave it as just one CRT and request all the staff with greater staff power to delete all the JAWS profiles (except for the verse page) here and now. That's their choice, but it could help me clean up the mess (or at least unfinished work) that was left behind by others.

Unfathomably Based. I kneel and agree

I'd say I agree. Are we adding profiles for the later films' sharks, most notably the female one (interestingly, female great whites are bigger IRL) from Jaws 3 that is 35 feet versus the 25 feet of her earlier male counterparts.

I am working on these as well, plus the games' sharks.

I didn't want to bloat the CRT with too much stuff so this is mainly for the original shark.

Reference the names and standard tactics.
Slight bump, plus to comment that these have been added.

The name references weren't particularly necessary but I did consider doing that when I started this... but I figured why not, and luckily scouring for each name wasn't as difficult as I thought it'd be (given how the original novel can be a bit of a slog whenever the shark isn't present).

The changes have been applied and the new profiles have been added, so this can be closed.
