Far in the distance, Cassius saw floating structures—massive constructs that twisted in ways his mind couldn’t fully comprehend. Some folded in on themselves, others extended into infinity, stretching beyond sight. A colossal, spiraling structure hovered in the center, its form shifting endlessly like a paradox made manifest.
"What… is this?" Cassius whispered.
The doctor smirked. "Welcome to MPB-341, The World Beyond Worlds. A place in between places."
Cassius swallowed. "In between places?"
The doctor nodded. "It exists at an angle to reality. Above time, yet somehow beneath everything." He pointed toward the shifting sky. "Time here? It’s just a convenience. It moves when it needs to, stops when it doesn’t. Sometimes, it stacks on top of itself. Other times, it folds into something unrecognizable. You might spend a second here and return to find a year has passed. Or vice versa."
Cassius stared in stunned silence, his mind reeling. The ground beneath his feet pulsed like a heartbeat. He could feel the fabric of existence bending around him.
The doctor chuckled. "Space here? Think of it like a blank sheet of paper—you can write on it, erase it, fold it, or burn it."
Cassius clenched his fists. "Can I even handle this?"[\QUOTE]
Out here, the only constant is that nothing is constant."
He paused for a moment, letting the weight of his words sink in. "And time? Past, present, and future? Here, they all blend together. There’s no real difference between what’s already happened and what’s to come. You could spend 22 hours in a place like this, and when you step outside, it could feel like no time has passed at all. Everything’s fluid, in a sense." The doctor motioned around them. "So, don’t bother keeping track of time. Here, time doesn’t rule. You do."
