While I was cleaning up profiles, I can't help but be bothered by the intelligence ratings on them. On all but the handful of profiles we have things like:
"Skilled fighter, expert martial-artist"
I understand that not everyone can be bothered to right mini essays on them like I do (I'm obssessed), but I ultimately feel that the Intelligence rating on our profiles is becoming superfluous at best if all we're going to do is throw out blanket statements on them.
I'm not saying we should do a whole revamp of our intelligence system (that's impossible) but I still think that it should be at least encouraged to have people write more than meaningless and superficial placeholders. Just writing a few of their intellectual feats (i.e. manipulated two factions to war against each other, fought Legendary Swordsman X, trained for this many years e.t.c.) would be enough to at least provide some information on the character that would be useful for a fight rather than have supporters be forced to explain the level of combat skill a character has (I had the painful experience of trying to do so in a thread not too long ago since the guy insisted that Goku was an incomparably better fighter).
