If a character....

1) If a character punches through steel, what tier would he/she be in?

2) If a character walks through a stone wall with no effort what tier would he/she be in?

3) If a character can cause an earthquake what tier would he/she be in?

1) and 2) Are we sure it's not Wall level+? Post Crisis Batman is KJ+ because he has broken down steel doors.

3) Basically enough to split the ground.

Depending on how thick the steel and stone is yes it could be Wall+

Hmm...i'm not 100% sure what that would be, but it sounds like maybe City Block level, not sure though

Actually it's from being stronger than Deadshot, who has a Wall level+ feat.

So.... is punching through a steel bus enough to put someone at Wall level+?
Mister Satan is scaled to that exact feat and he's only Wall level

Punching through a regular steel door is Wall level (without the +).

We don't have a way to calc such a small earthquake that affects only a very small region so we could possibly try to calc it without counting the earthquake.

Deadshot smashed a wall and the result was 3.77 kg TNT which is Wall level+

Striking Strength works differently than Attack Potency. For example, Class KJ goes from "Street level" to "Wall level". The plus sign here simply means that it is the higher tier that is relevant, in this case "Wall level".

Perhaps we should clarify this in the Striking Strength page?

Should striking strength be calculated based on PSI or destruction of an object of certain density then? Destroying a building for example requires no more "strength" than a wall destroying object made bigger.

Striking Strength is calculated by energy output, just like Attack Potency.

Personally, I don't like the system at all, and think that it should be classified with the same titles as Attack Potency, but it is a leftover from the old wiki administration, and would constitute an enormous project to replace.

And if a character reacts to an arrow how fast would he/she be?
Depending on distance, but one could reach subsonic reflexes that way.

Also how much strength is required to throw a spear at 282 m/s?
Olympic javelin throwers release the javelin at 28-30m/s. For the javelin to be released at 282m/s, you'd need ~28 times more strength than a trained athlete.

@Scarlet That should make Achilles superhuman in lifting strenght right?
Yes, that would make him Street level or KJ Class Striking Stregnth.

Also new question, how much force is needed to trigger a volcanic eruption with one hit?
I don't believe there is an exact answer for that. It depends heavily on the type of the volcano, it's current state before the strike and the thickness of rocky layer above it. Also depends on the type of volcanic eruption (explosive or effusive).

If you have a video/scan of said feat, I'd suggest you take it up with a calc member, maybe he can help to determine the strength of said feat.

The World Record for fastest draw is 0.208. This includes the time to react, draw and fire at the target.

Normal Human Perception ranges from 0.3 to 0.129 so this would give said character normal reation speed.
