Doesn't the hunter just shoot and win once they come into sight of each other, I doubt Goblin Slayer-San would anticipate a Supersonic Rounds from High Powered Modern weapons coming at him without prior knowledge.

That's true. The question now is;
Who will pull off their arsenal first?

A gate scroll opens a small gate on the spell inscription to the destination written onto it by a capable spell caster. Its typical purpose is to travel great distances in a second or escape instantly from any dungeon or dangerous situations.[2]

However, depending on the imagination of its user, it can also be used as a weapon in certain situations. Goblin Slayer linked the scroll's to the bottom of the sea, and utilized the high-pressure water as a water cannon that could tear apart a horde of goblins[3], or even someone as resilient as Ogre.

Does he use this as a starting move tho? This wincon rn assumes he pulls this off immediately off the bat to completely one hit the Hunter without further question stopping and effectively seizing him from attacking. Pretty sure items such as these are considered valuable to Goblin Slayer and are only used in dire situations and ofc when he needs a quick escape route.

He still has his arrows and speed equalized means he can pull them ofd

Yeah, Slayer can use a bow but there's a reason why High Elf Archer is in his party.
So hunter wins more but slayer can pull a win either with the gate scroll or the bow

I mean considering it brought water up and their in the one piece world he could use the scroll to teleport the ocean onto the surface
