How much energy would be needed to destroy half of the Solar system? I'd consider Jupiter to be the halfway point of the solar system so maybe up to there.

Sun to jupiter distance: 741.18e9 meters

Jupiter GBE: 2.022E+36 joules

jupiter radius: 69.911e6 meters

4*2.022e36*(741.18e9/69.911e6)^2 = 9.0907036e+44 joules, Large Star Level, 285 times baseline
