How does lifting strength applicable in combat ? ex : X can rip Y bodies with his lifting strength ?

Users can pin weaker targets down and immobilize them through the use of lifting strength, definitely helpful in close quarters fights.

HL also allows you break lower characters neck.(But of course regen gets past this)

It's mostly for H2H

Apparently lets you resist TK as long as the LS is higher than the one doing the TK

Might also give resistance to gravity manipulation depending on certain factors?

Other than that, it's not that useful, still more useful than speed though.

Combat maneuvers that require strength, including grapple, trip, overrun, etc. Several characters has an speed dependent AP, so if they are unable to move, they are also unable to cause that much damage.

Its also the usual way of resisting conventional gravity manipulation.

This isn't the case, LS requires you have something to exert force against, whereas the TK user only has to lift your own mass to be effective.

So in the scenario you are lifted off the ground, you are kind of helpless, unless you have Flight.

What if you're not lifted off the ground but say, just forced backwards or pulled forwards?

As others said, in CQC is useful for grapples, throws, immobilization, physical confrontations and so on. It can also be used to break parts of the opponent's body, snatch or stop their weapons, overcome them in a clash of swords and such.

Depending on a character's fighting style and behavior, it can be used to toss objects or part of the environment, such as large rocks, buildings and so on.

H2H, telekinectic paralisys, normal gravity manipulation, battlefield weaponizing, and BFR.

I think you can also use it to full on resist telekinesis and gravity manipulation if you have flight, since you'll have omnidirectional means to overcome it.

Yeah. Ideally, Lifting Strength can let you tear someone apart, throw them into space, drown them, suffocate them, bury them (Under more than they can lift, ideally.), pin them, hold them, etc.
A bit situational, but hardly useless.
