Hello, I am need help with 1 or 2 things for this calc. I am trying to calculate a feat in the latest lookism chapter 538 where Taesoo Ma pulls a huge stone with one hand.
Feat and Pixel Calc:
My Calc so far:
The thing that is confusing me is whether I should leave this or multiply the results by 2 because he is only using one hand and using Google, one hand strength means I can multiply the results by 2. Furthermore, I had to completely hypothesize the width using 3 measurements which I am unsure if it will be accepted. Let me know if I should fix anything or if it is good to go. Or if there is too much guess work and I should just discard this calc.
Feat and Pixel Calc:
My Calc so far:
- Taesoo Ma Height = 1.95m. Use a height-to-headheight calculator, the height of his head would be 0.498m.
- Even though the stone isn’t perfectly square, through the pixel calcs, I got the width is 1.77m and the height is 2.57m.
- To be safe and measure the length of the stone, I used 3 different measurements. Low End = 25% of width, Mid End = 50% of width, and high end = same as width.
- Low-end: L = 0.25 × 1.77m = 0.4425m
- Mid-end: L = 0.50 × 1.77m = 0.885m
- High-end: L = 1.77m
- Volume (looks like half an ellipsoid shape: (⅔)*pi*l*w*h):
- Low End: 4.216m^3
- Mid End: 8.432m^3
- High End: 16.85m^3
- Rock density: 2700 kg/m^3
- Mass:
- Low End: 11,383.2 kg
- Mid End: 22,766.4 kg
- High End: 45,495 kg
- Force to push an object is m * g * f. Where m is the mass of the object, g is gravity, and f is the coefficient of friction. Find coefficient of friction here: https://www.finesoftware.eu/help/ge...friction-factors-for-dissimilar-materials-01/
- The most relevant value would be "Rock smooth on rock smooth" = 0.7
- Force (mass * 9.81 * 0.7):
- Low End: 78,132.95 N or 7.97 metric tons (Class 10)
- Mid End: 156,265.9 N or 15.93 metric tons (Class 25)
- High End: 312,258.45 N or 31.83 metric tons (Class 50)
The thing that is confusing me is whether I should leave this or multiply the results by 2 because he is only using one hand and using Google, one hand strength means I can multiply the results by 2. Furthermore, I had to completely hypothesize the width using 3 measurements which I am unsure if it will be accepted. Let me know if I should fix anything or if it is good to go. Or if there is too much guess work and I should just discard this calc.
