So I just found out that Maniac Mania isn’t considered canon in any way shape or form, so the profiles will have to get a revision done.

If we’re assuming the most recent version of the character like SBA, Goldie has a lot more hax that he can use, so I’m betting him. I don’t know what Marsh can do even with prior knowledge and preparation. TF is he gonna do when Goldie just teleports behind him or something like that? I think Goldie takes this, maybe too much so

Depends, what does Golden Sonic do in-character?

Marsh's strikes have a 50/50 chance of hitting Golden under equal speed and reaction time. Golden still needs time to do some of his hax. Though his type 2 immortality is starting to make me think that this match may get stompy.

He teleports a lot and goes physical.

I’m pretty sure he can teleport instantly, and he doesn’t use most of his other stuff in-character.

To my knowledge, it's going to be very hard for Marsh to go all physical as he usually does.

With average intelligence like us normal people, what can you even do to hit Golden Sonic at least once besides standing in a corner and hope he'll appear in-view from the corner? Not a very good position, assuming this fight is in central park.

Marsh can only hit Golden Sonic out-of-focus when he's attacking him. And it's going to be hard to beat up a metallic character with type 2 immortality.

Sounds like a very unfair match so far. Not sure if making Marsh stand in a corner facing opposite in the direction of the corner will help though.
