So to make it quick and simple

Infinite Speed - "Able to move indefinitely while time literally stands still, or to travel anywhere instantly. Teleportation does not count.)"

However time doesn't stand still when Diavolo uses King crimson, time is erased, not stopped.

Thus i think it makes much more sense to change his speed to

Immeasurable - " (Movement beyond linear time. This is why the speed cannot be measured. Given that S = D/T, if T is undefined the speed formula cannot be applied. This is the same reason why multiple temporal dimensions also grant immeasurable speed.)"

Since time is Erased, T is taken out of the speed formula thus the speed formula itself cannot be applied.
Diavoloa

Anyway, that's the reason he is infinite in the first place. Moving in timestop is hax. Moving in erased time grants him the infinite. You have to full-on transcend it for immeasurable.

He's just saying switch GER's speed from infinite to immeasurable as it fits closer to the definition of the latter.

Could ya imagine? Immeasurable Duavolo woukd scale to everyone almost, itd scale to base GE, Bruno and Silver Chariot which would scale to Part 3 plus Jotaro and Jotaro scales the part 4 and 6 cast. Itd be a mess.

I'm fine with either honestly, but moving when time no longer exists in that instant?

He clearly doesn't need time to function at that point but who knows.

I'm not well versed on infinite/immeasurable differences.

Actually transcending the concepts of time/space gives you an "Irrelevant" rating for speed

Diavolo doesn't stop time he outright erases it, meaning time doesn't exist whereas Infinite speed is specifically stated to be moving within time stop, not erased time.

I am uncertain how to properly rate this type of speed. It does not clearly seem to fit with either infinite or immeasurable.

"Infinite (Fought Dialga in torn space-time)" along with resistance to Space-time erasure its what Dialga and palkia got from a very similar feat.

@PaChi

Except that Diavolo erases only time. Dialga and Palkia erase everything. There is a difference between withstanding an entire timeline being torn apart around you and resisting something that isn't made to kill you

^

And Idk how this is confusing, Diavolo erased time and GER still moved within it.This directly falls into our definition of immeasurable speed.Or is there something I'm not getting?

If time is erased, it doesn't mean that you are taking it out of the equation. It means that t=0.

The difference between infinite and immeasurable is that the former can go everywhere instantly. The latter can go everywhere and everywhen.

Point is Giorno was affected by the time erase and GER was not wouldn't that make GER out of the equation but not Giorno?

If time is erased it DOES take t out of the equation...since time no longer exists for those 10 seconds, that's how King crimson works.

i think you guys should fix page with the Infinite Speed (Able to move indefinitely while time literally stands still, or to travel anywhere instantly) . Teleportation does not count.) or change giorno speed sinds there was no time at all when when GER moved

Guys. It's destroying 10 seconds of time. GER is moving in an amount of time which is 10-10. Which is 0.

It can't go so fast that it reaches yesterday as a result. Immeasurable characters do

What does GER moving in only 10 seconds of erased time take away from him moving in erased time? He still moved in erased time, it's just that the amount of time that was erased was 10 seconds.

And GER fits directly into the definition of Immeasurable speed on here.Shouldn't there be a better explanation of Immeasurable speed then, or at least a footnote or something?

this sounds inconsistent. diavolo erased time for 10 seconds and GER moved while time was erased for 10 seconds. guess it just really work

I agree with Kaltias. Infinite speed is fine. Thank you for handling this btw.

This is a good easy to understand explanation. Perhaps we should insert it into the Speed page in order to avoid confusion?

I think that it could be redundant, considering that it's basically how the note #5 explain immeasurable speed (Characters that are able to move backwards and forwards through time by movement alone qualify for immeasurable speed.). I personally never had a problem with the wording of the speed page, so i'm neutral.

Well, there has been a lot of confusion, so I might place the mention somewhere.

Infinite is fine but I think there should be a side note next to Immeasurable saying something like "for more info check note 5" but with better grammar and format.

I have added this mention.
