Why is the anime version of the lightfang feat used over the manga?

Anime version can actually be used to calc the frames which gives a much more precise value

Yeah but the feat itself is considerably different than the manga version so shouldn't it just be applied to the anime continuity and not intertwined with the manga?

Please no, this was discussed a lot, the manga is not completely clear the anime makes it very clear, as far as we know the anime follows the feat exacly like it is in the manga.

No because nothing in the anime contradicts the manga. So the anime version is used because it clarifies the feat. It's like the manga feat has gaps and the anime feat fills them. The anime feat wouldn't be considered if the extra bits couldn't fit the gaps in the manga, ie, contradicts it.
