Fire Emblem revision part 1 (help needed)

Hi everyone, here we are going to try to update every Fire emblem profile with the weapons available in the game that each character can use.

For starters:

FE 1:

Levin Sword: Electricity Manipulation for every sword user.

Starlight: Not sure if this is specific for Linde in canon (like Aura), otherwise, Power Nullification for mages and Light Manipulation.

Devil weapons: addition to a weakness, maybe?

FE2:

Thunder sword: pretty much like the Levin sword.

Holy sword: Healing/Regen. Effective against monsters (what do you call it?)

Holy Lance: same as the sword.

MoonLight (lance): Power Nullification and Regen/Healing.

Holy Bow: can you guess?

Magic Shield: high resistance against magical attacks.

FE3: refer to FE1

FE4:

Berserk Sword: mind manipulation

Silence/Sleep Sword: status effect inducement

Flame/Earth/Wind/Light/Thunder Sword: **** manipulation. Earth includes life-force absorption.


FE5:

Berserker Sword.

Poison/Sleep Sword

Flame/Earth/Wind/Light/Thunder Sword: **** manipulation.

FE6:

Poison Sword. Light Brand. Rune Sword (darkness? manipulation? Its supposed to be dark magic).

Rune Sword: life Force absorption.

Nosferatu: Life-force absorption.

FE7: same as FE6 but adding Wind Sword (and personally I'd add the wind sword to the FE6 cast since it's basically the same place only a couple of decades after FE7).

Luna and Eclipse: Durability negation.

FE8:

Light Brand. Rune Sword. Wind Sword. Poison weapons. Nosferatu, Luna, Eclipse (dark magic)

ShadowKiller (sword), Fiendcleaver (axe), Beacon Bow, Bright Lance: effective against monsters.

Wyrmslayer. Dragon Axe. Dragon spear: effective against dragons.

FE9:

Sonic Sword (wind). Rune Sword (light and Life-force absorption). Poison weapons.

Flame Lance (fire)

Bolt Axe (electricity)

Nosferatu (Light. Life-force absorption)

FE10:

Wind Sword family (wind).

Nosferatu (same as FE9)

Poison weapons (including valaura, aka poison light magic).

FE11 and FE12: same as 1.

  • in FE12 there is Glower (durability negating dark magic), problem is I dont remember if it could be used. Anyway, if the enemies can use the tome there shouldnt be any reason besides game mechanics for the party to not have it.


Note: Im currently unable to keep updating this. Also, keep in mind that this list is missing every staff available (which mostly include sleep, warp, silence, rescue and the like). I'd appreciate any help.
 
Prayer Sword gives Miracle, which increased evasion in FE4

Also, I believe the anti-monster weapons in FE8 and the Wind Sword in FE7 weren't legitimately available, and in FE8 the Wind Sword was only available in the Creature Campaign

Also, since our profiles don't cover Gaiden, we should probably look at Echoes instead
 
I edited the Prayer sword out.

Why dont they cover gaiden, though?
 
Fire Emblem, we can use this to distribute the characters to make the edits.

This reminds me:

Caeda becomes a falcon knight (at least that's what I feel should be her canon promotion, you know, keeping the pegasus and not changing to a dragon).

Falcon Knights use swords, so it should be noted.

Also, Gharnef would gain Glower, even if its not his standard equipment, lol
 
Linde's the one who canonically uses Starlight since the DS versions at least have Linde, if she's in the party, asking Marth if she can be the one to punish Gharnef when the chapter starts. There's also her wanting to be the one to avenge her father, so I think Starlight being given to Linde seems legit. Also, does Merric already have Excalibur? Rune Sword from the GBA games is also Life-Force Absorption.
 
Merric starts with Excalibur the first time you meet him, yes.

And yes, I forgot abour the life force absorption, thanks for pointing that out.

What about Caeda?
 
I personally think that we should split the revisions in three parts:

Part 1: weapons 1-12 (skipping 2)

Part 2: weapons of Awakening/Fates/Echoes

Part 3: Staves
 
Honestly, Echoes might have a thread for itself, given that every single weapon grants abilities, along with Shields and rings AKA everything that can be used in combat
 
I revised part of it; did so for Marth at least. But yes, we finish to this necro'd thread. Also, the 8-C characters in the GBA Fire Emblem games need a "+" sign since the AP of a Lightning Bolt is 5 Gigajoules, which does exist in the upper half of the 8-C range.

But a good start is splitting up the work load among a couple users.
 
I think that the first post seems to make sense.
 
Just pick a game.

However, before that, I need to ask:

Roy and Eliwood's games: should they share weapons?

PoR and RD: and these?

They take place in the same continent with just a timeskip of difference between both of them (i.e Ike can use a Rune sword in PoR but cant in RD). Imo it makes sense.
 
I got FE1/FE3 out of the way, since that was simple enough. I'm going to be busy IRL today, but may be able to help out more after I get back from work.
 
I tried to edit Micaiah's profile (who is also missing Precognition, btw), but I simply couldnt find where to click to start editing.. Lol. Any help?
 
Gharnef is done. I added Glower and staves to his equipment.

I also edited Micaiah (and added some more stuff that she was missing, like Corona).
 
Don't worry i was just pointing out that, you can take time to clean the page.
