Editing Profiles without a CRT

To what extent can this be done?

For instance, if a profile is accepted to scale to a rating or a character, but the justification on the profile is bad/lacks scans/could have details added to bolster its validity/or in extreme cases, doesn't even have justifications, is a CRT needed or can those details/improvements be added so long as ratings aren't changed?

If the justification is bad and could have added details then you should do a crt. I mainly add stuff if its said but no scan is given. And you should really make a sandbox or blog to show what you want changed so others can comment before you just add it. It's just better to do crts so what you added is shown as accepted as well.
