So people are saying that Mario did not tank the supernova because he was protected from it thanks to roseailna. However it is very important to note that roseailna protected them AFTER the supernova occurred! This means anyone who we know was there tanked the froce of the supernova! So this explains why Mario, bowser, peach, and Luigi tanked the supernova. (Also something to point out is that it wasn't a supernova but instead the destruction and rebirth of the universe.

However,Mario still scales to the feat via being comparable to Bowser so it doesn't matter whether he tanked it or not.
