Dawnte of Dantes: The holy man who inspired the wacky woohoo pizza man fights his shitty reboot (featuring Sinner #10 from Limbus Company).
THE RULES:
  • The battle takes place here with the starting distance being 7 meters.
  • Speed is equalized.
  • SBA for everything else.
AP: Crusader Dante upscales from 13.43 Tons and "Donté, el exterminador de demonios" is 11.22 Tons.

Who wins and why?

One man prays to God: 7 (@Naito-desu, @Jerry59, @OrangeFR, @AthelChan, @XSOULOFCINDERX, @MannyQ361, @AThe1412)

The other gives him the finger:

DANTE! DANTE! WHAT THE HELL?!? celebratory clock noises (Inconclusive):

Alright, throwing in my two dice, I think Crusader Dante probably loses a close-quarters in a straight melee battle but has a way more varied moveset, and reboot Dante's tendency to get brash or talk trash can leave him open to way more stuff that he doesn't seem to resist like the acid. But Dante can also get the upper hand back with Devil Trigger, which has time stop, which is enough for him to get his licks in and hopefully put Crusader Dante down.

Crusader Dante does have an extremely varied arsenal that could get Dante killed, the ability to blind, throw acid, and his attack reflection will definitely prove problematic, and Divine Armor could theoretically in my opinion help him outlast Devil Trigger when suspended, but Idk much about either.

Summary is, Crusader has way more up his sleeve and it falls down to how likely Dante will resort to Devil Trigger and take the battle seriously enough to end him quickly before his varied moveset overwhelms him and catches him off-guard. 50/50 for me, leaning slightly more on Crusader Dante for varied moveset, slight AP advantage

Here's a moveset and gameplay video for both Dantes in case you don't know how some of their moves work (Inferno Dante's moveset unfortunately doesn't showcase everything since some stuff on the profile come from DLCs). Do you want me to count you as a vote for him or inconclusive?

This is honestly really close just because I think Devil Trigger evens the odds quite a bit, also DmC Dante's Class M rating means he'd likely win any clash and overpower Crusader Dante. But then again, Suicide Fruit might be a great counter since I don't think Dante resists its empathic sound manip. I think I'll vote Dante the Crusader, but I could easily be swayed to incon.

Also that Lust Storm moan 💀

He doesn't start with it and you could argue that tapping into his demonic side will make him more vulnerable to holy power.

Crusader Dante defeated quite a few opponents with Class M LS.

He has a few relics he can equip that lets him induce stuns as well. Also, vote counted.
