Except he's not exactly. Primes are just older versions. Umbra is a general who was turned into an infested. He has a mind and soul unlike the original excal and his abilities are slightly more focused towards sentients.
So he was meant to be like a prime, but lore wise he has nothing to do with the actual excal. I asked around and people said it'd be best to make a new profile for him.

Nah, it has nothing to do with that. Umbra was a war general that Ballas turned into an infested after the was hurt in the war. Primes are the first ever models. The models of the warframes back in the old days with the orokin technology.KarmodF said:
