Can a Fandom Wiki be a Canon Verse?

I have this question because some people say that Fandom is not able to have a Canon universe since is very easy to edit by just creating an account, while others say that it can be since it has the Creative Commons Share-Alike thing, I know the requirements for a verse to be Canon like being original and a decent timeline, all I'm asking is if it can be Canon due to the copyright Fandom has.
