Ares (Marvel Comics) vs Gerard Valkyrie

Is this not a stomp for Gerard? He's Country level and Ares is Large Mountain level.

Can Pre-Auswahlen Gerard use The Miracle normally?

That's strange. The normal Sternritter could use their powers without getting the Auswahlen boost from Yhwach but it seems like some of the elites couldn't, or their use of the abilities designated to them was severely limited. Didn't Gerard have his own power normally without receiving anything from Yhwach? I think he should have it here.
Well, if he can't use it, I'll give it to Ares for his higher stats and Regenerationn. Not much Gerard can do, especially since he's weaker. If he can use The Miracle, my vote is obvious. I don't see anything on Ares' page that suggests he can bypass Gerard's Regenerationn or his ability to get stronger from damage that doesn't kill him. He'll eventually get outmatched.

True. Oh, then I'll vote for Gerard for his Damage Reflection with Hoffnung. If he guards with it, it'll probably get broken due to Ares' higher stats and then Ares subsequently gets that damage reflected to him.
