AP/LS for Crushing Feats

I keep seeing crushing feats being used for both AP and LS and I wondered what's the contextual difference?

Lifting strength is like resistance when or lifting an object. For example when Anos raised the castle made by Misha

Lifting Strength is explicitly the "the amount of upwards force a character can produce", whereas Attack Potency is the "energy damage equivalent" of the "amount of damage a character can produce".

If a character were to stomp on or squish and compress an object, that would only apply to Lifting Strength, as those feats are a result of force, which can be applied into upwards force. Crushing a bottle when the water is all gone is Lifting Strength.

If a character were to clench a boulder and destroy it or grab an opponent's wrist and crush it, that would generally only apply to Attack Potency, as those feats are a result of energy.

Grip strength cannot really be applied to upwards force, as gripping and lifting are two vastly differently processes. Lifting and compressing are, in a sense, "opposites". Lifting is push an object into the air, whereas crushing is compression an object into the ground or into itself.

or something like that...
