I say ,joker if all items and abilities/persona's are all go with omnipotent orb he should be immune / have resistance to most if not all bartz abilities.

Looking at Bartz's profile, he doesn't have durability negation so as far as I know, he shouldn't be capable of bypassing the Omnipotent Orb. On the other hand, Ren doesn't have access to the Omnipotent Orb as standard equipment, so it isn't included in Versus match-ups anyway, so the point is moot.
As far my thoughts on the match-up, I'd give it to Ren, easily. For one thing, Bartz's most notable weakness is most of his magic being locked behind verbalisation of the spell. Ren has access to the skills Makajama and Makajamaon, which inflicts Silence (although the status is called "Forget" in P5, it has the exact same effect as in previous games), and prevents the usage of spells.
Aside from that, Ren has superior stats in AP, with Bartz being "possibly Galaxy level" and Ren being "Galaxy level, likely higher". This same difference rings true for most of their stats, besides speed (which is equalized so it doesn't really matter).
I'm not familiar with Bartz's abilities, so I can't compare the two's various hax. Does Bartz have anything to overcome the difference in pure stats?

Well, bartz can use mix to get out of Silence, and he does have stuff like BFR, Petrification, Mind Control, OHKO. He could also Age Ren into an old man to lessen the stat diff. The question is: what equipment does bartz have? Cause if he has a ribbon, all status effects are rendered useless against him.
